Joe Biden escalated his feud with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
But Biden made this key error.
Joe Biden just did one terrible thing to Ron DeSantis that will leave you seeing red.
Biden and his public health tyrants flew off the handle this summer when Governor DeSantis began promoting lifesaving monoclonal antibodies as an early treatment option for Floridians testing positive for COVID.
DeSantis challenged Biden’s biomedical surveillance state of mandatory vaccines and masks.
In keeping Florida open with no mandates DeSantis proved that Biden’s edicts and requirements were failure theater and only in place so Biden can control the population.
Now the Biden administration punished Florida by cutting off shipments of Regeneron and Eli Lilly’s monoclonal antibody treatments.
Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo fired off a letter to the Biden administration urging them to reconsider this mistake that will kill people.
“This sudden suspension of multiple monoclonal antibody therapy treatments from distribution to Florida removes a health care provider’s ability to provide the best treatment options for their patients in this state,” Dr. Ladapo wrote.
Dr. Ladapo pointed out the absurdity of this decision in light of the Biden administration blocking states from securing their own supply of these critical drugs.
“This shortsightedness is especially evident given the federal government effectively prohibited states from purchasing these monoclonal antibodies and serving their populations directly,” Dr. Ladapo added.
In his letter, Dr. Ladapo alluded to Biden admitting there was no federal solution to COVID and that states should chart the best course of action to keep their residents safe.
“As Surgeon General, I respectfully request that you allow states and healthcare practitioners to provide treatment options that best benefit the communities that they know and serve,” Dr. Ladapo continued.
But once again, the Biden administration proved it was a Keystone Cops operation.
The Biden administration cut off the supply of monoclonal antibodies based on the “science” from the Centers for Disease Control saying the treatment was not effective against Omicron and Omicron was now 73 percent of the cases.
But the Centers for Disease Control bungled the data collection and instead Omicron cases were really just 22 percent of those recorded in the previous week.
The New York Post reports:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has drastically reduced its estimate of Omicron cases in the US, saying the variant accounted for about 59 percent of COVID-19 infections as of Christmas Day — a massive drop from the 73 percent previously reported.
The CDC also significantly lowered its estimate for the week before Christmas, saying that the variant accounted for just 22.5 percent of all infections as of Dec. 18. The public health agency previously estimated that Omicron accounted for 73.2 percent of cases that week.
Democrats fear Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis rejected lockdowns, mask mandates and vaccine passports.
As the virus raged across the Northeast where Democrat governors followed Joe Biden’s COVID police state to the letter, DeSantis’ plan to keep life functioning and rejecting mandates paid off.
That infuriated Democrats.
And now it looks like the Democrats used faulty science to punish Florida in the hopes of hurting DeSantis politically.
