Joe Biden just robbed hundreds of millions of Americans.
With the stroke of a pen, he just did more damage than any other politician in generations.
And now, Biden’s move to bail out student loan debt has sparked outrage across the country.
Joe Biden just gave left-wing colleges and universities the bailout of a lifetime.
And he’s forcing working-class Americans who didn’t get a college degree to pay for it.
That’s because Biden just announced that he was “forgiving” $10,000 worth of student loans for almost everyone with student loans.
But the problem is, for the hundreds of millions of Americans who never took out student loan debt, or who already paid their debt off, this move simply forces them to pay for the loans of other people.
Even worse, the money is going disproportionally towards wealthier left-leaning Americans working in Washington, D.C., Silicon Valley, or on Wall Street.
Under Biden’s plan, a trucker or plumber making $60,000 a year will be forced to subsidize a left-wing lawyer or political operative making $125,000 a year.
Under Biden’s executive order, a couple in the top 10% of income earners could get a free pass on college debt they took out, to be paid for by someone who never took out any loans to begin with.
In short, Biden’s move is a giant fraud, forcefully redistributing money from those who either paid off their debts or never took any out, to those who chose not to prioritize paying off their debt and instead worked to elect a politician who will force others to fork over money to foot the bill.
It’s no wonder that Americans across the country are outraged at Biden’s move.
Even some Democrats are condemning Biden’s actions.
“While there’s no doubt that a college education should be about opening opportunities, waiving debt for those already on a trajectory to financial security sends the wrong message to the millions of Ohioans without a degree working just as hard to make ends meet,” said Tim Ryan, a Democrat congressman running for U.S. Senate in Ohio.
Ryan is attacking the move because he knows that a working-class state like Ohio will overwhelmingly oppose this measure, and that if voters blame Democrats for robbing half of the country to pay less than a third of Americans who have student loans, he will lose his election bid in November.
But despite these criticisms, Biden is doubling down.
“After announcing executive action to unilaterally and retroactively wipe away $300 billion in federal student debt, President Biden looked over his shoulder to answer a question: Was this debt forgiveness fair to those who had sacrificed and saved to pay their way through college? Biden deflected,” reports RealClearPolitics.
That’s because the group that stands to benefit the most from Biden’s move are Democrat politicians and political staffers.
“There is more outstanding student debt in Washington than in any other city in the country. The average debtor in D.C., according to a 2021 breakdown by the small business analyst, AdvisorSmith, owes $54,982 in unpaid student loans. This includes many political staffers at the Department of Education, senior advisors as well as junior aides who moved to that agency from the Biden campaign,” concludes RealClearPolitics.
