Democrats were horrified that Joe Biden let the cat out of the bag.
There’s no way for them to recover now.
Joe Biden regretted these three words as soon as they left his mouth.
During the vice presidential debate, Sen. Kamala Harris stated that she was doubtful of any vaccine that was developed under President Trump.
The Democrats were highly doubtful that a vaccine would be developed and they tried to undermine the public’s trust in that vaccine because they didn’t want Trump to get credit for the historic achievement.
Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo even suggested that people shouldn’t be vaccinated until Biden takes office.
“It’s good news/bad news,” Cuomo said in November. “The good news is the Pfizer tests look good and we’ll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is that it’s about two months before Joe Biden takes over, and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan.”
Cuomo said that “we can’t let this vaccination plan go forward.”
But despite what the Democrats will try to claim, it was the Trump administration who developed the vaccine, and worked hard to make sure that Americans would quickly get access to the vaccine.
And Biden slipped up and said that the Trump administration “deserves some credit” for the vaccine, as he was getting his first dose of the vaccine.
“The scientists and the people who put this together, the front line workers, the people who were the ones who actually did the clinical work, it’s just amazing,” Biden told the gathered reporters after taking the shot. “I think the administration deserves some credit getting this off the ground with Operation Warp Speed. I also think that it’s worth saying that this gives great hope. I’m doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared when it’s available to take the vaccine. There is nothing to worry about.”
Biden then told the reporters that the crisis was far from over and that “I hope people listen to all the experts and the Dr. Faucis on, talking about the need to wear masks during this Christmas and New Year’s holiday. Wear masks, socially distance, and if you don’t have to travel, don’t travel.”
Since President Trump recently had the coronavirus, he therefore still has protective effects from the treatment he had then.
“He will receive the vaccine as soon as his medical team determines that it’s best,” press secretary Kayleigh McEnany noted at a recent briefing. “He wants to make sure the vulnerable get access first.”
The Democrats insisted that it wouldn’t be possible to develop a vaccine, but President Trump proved them wrong and prioritized that the vulnerable, like Biden, get the vaccine first.
