Everyone counted out Donald Trump in the fight to repeal Obamacare.
He surprised everyone with an 11th-hour attempt to repeal the crown jewel of Barack Obama’s socialist agenda.
But John McCain shocked everyone with an unforgivable act of betrayal.
Trump and some Republicans have not given up on keeping their promise to rid America of Obamacare.
Back in July, McCain provided the decisive vote that killed the GOP’s “skinny repeal” legislation.
That led pundits to declare the fight over Obamacare finished.
Trump didn’t subscribe to that view and pushed Republicans to pass legislation that would uphold their seven-year promise to repeal the law.
Republicans settled on legislation that would have repealed the Obamacare mandates, block granting the spending in order to return it to the states and wind down the Medicaid expansion in 2026.
The GOP proceeded with this plan because McCain indicated he was in favor of it which would have given them the necessary 50 votes to allow Vice President Mike Pence to cast a tie-breaking vote to pass the bill.
But McCain lied to his colleagues.
He stunned Washington when he released a statement saying he could not support the bill and desired to work with Democrats on legislation to enshrine Obamacare.

Trump blasted McCain for his dishonesty on Twitter.
Democrats are laughingly saying that McCain had a "moment of courage." Tell that to the people of Arizona who were deceived. 116% increase!

Despite McCain stabbing Trump and GOP voters in the back, the President is still working toward Obamacare repeal.
Was this McCain’s worst act of treachery?
