Robert Mueller’s investigation is nothing more than a witch hunt.
There is zero proof of collusion with Russia, yet it continues on.
And a judge just handed Mueller his biggest win yet.
Mueller has an insane amount of power.
And he has next to zero oversight.
In fact, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the investigation, giving Mueller complete reign.
This has been a major concern for President Trump and his allies since the beginning.
So much so, many believe his investigation is entirely unconstitutional.
One court case alleges that Mueller’s appointment should have been approved by the Senate and confirmed by the President.
But with a new ruling, Mueller is breathing a sigh of relief.
In a unanimous decision, a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. rejected the claims of the case.
But a cursory look at the origins of the investigation shows just how shady it is.
While the investigation came to life through an order from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in 2017, there was a lot going into it.
Everything started during the 2016 campaign with the infamous Steele-dossier created by opposition research firm, Fusion GPS.
Funded by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee, the dossier made salacious claims against a then-candidate Trump, all of which are unverified.
Despite that fact, Justice Department officials connected to employees at Fusion GPS spread the dossier around their circles, which eventually led to a FISA warrant against Trump adviser Carter Page.
It is that warrant application that Rosenstein used to form Mueller’s investigation.
So clearly, the investigation doesn’t have a very clean backstory.
Not to mention, the shady dossier made its way into the public eye through the shady actions of disgraced former FBI Director James Comey.
Comey briefed then President elect Trump on the unverified dossier, giving fake news outlets like CNN and Buzzfeed justification to release it to the public.
The dossier did nothing but pass around embarrassing false claims against the President.
If the allegations were real, there would be some evidence by now.
But Mueller’s investigation is not one of facts, but a weapon to attack President Trump.
That’s why the anti-Trump resistance looks to him as a hero.
But because there is no proof of Russia collusion, Mueller has nothing else to do except target those close to Trump for completely unrelated crimes.
