As Vice President, Kamala Harris’ number one job is not to cause any problems for Joe Biden.
Harris failed at that task.
That’s because Kamala Harris caused Joe Biden a huge headache with this public betrayal.
Joe Biden pitched himself to voters as a competent Washington hand that could bring the coronavirus pandemic under control.
But there are more cases and hospitalizations now than one year ago under President Trump despite a vaccine being widely available.
Even Biden’s allies are not impressed with Biden’s management of the pandemic.
Kamala Harris’ former healthcare advisor Dr. Kavita Patel told POLITICO the White House’s COVID safety protocols did not measure up due to the fact that the administration only tells staffers who were exposed to someone testing positive about cases of COVID inside the White House.
Patel claimed this lack of transparency put staffers at risk.
The former Harris advisor also called out the corporate media double standard for how journalists would have set their hair on fire reporting on this story if it involved the Trump White House but gave Biden a pass.
“If this were the Trump administration, we would be talking about how they were putting staff and the health of their potentially unvaccinated household members in jeopardy,” Patel told POLITICO.
The White House defended hiding the number of COVID cases inside the White House from staffers as a matter of employee privacy.
“Information is shared exclusively with those who may be at risk in order to support individual employee privacy, while still effectively keeping all members of our campus community safe,” a White House official told POLITICO.
“Our medical unit fields inquiries from many individuals every day, and works with each individual to create a custom plan based on the specifics of their situation,” a White House source added. “White House staff with questions about our testing program are always encouraged to ask them to the operations team.”
Biden’s poor management of the coronavirus pandemic began to erode his poll numbers even before the debacle in Afghanistan.
Journalists, Democrats, as well as Biden and his team falsely claimed the president could control an airborne pathogen.
Biden’s management of the crisis fell apart as he and his administration could not settle on clear and consistent messaging.
One of the main problems is Biden and his team cater to a base of hysterical COVID fear mongers in the media and their base by continually undermining the vaccine.
Americans began to turn on Biden when Biden claimed vaccinated Americans needed to wear masks based on a flawed study.
Biden also essentially told Americans the vaccines don’t work when Biden pledged to protect vaccinated Americans from unvaccinated Americans.
Joe Biden’s falling poll numbers on the coronavirus have more to do with poor communication skills and letting lunatic public health bureaucrats run amok.
And even Biden’s nominal allies’ patience is wearing thin with the Biden administration’s coronavirus communication skills.
