Kamala Harris’s political fortunes continue to sink.
The political crises dragging down Joe Biden are also attached to Kamala Harris.
And now Kamala Harris found herself in deep trouble when one close ally turned on her.
From day one of the Biden administration the southern border descended into chaos.
Biden began rolling back successful Trump administration policies – like the “Remain in Mexico” program – and threw open the border inviting a flood of illegal aliens to march into the United States.
The crisis grew to the point where it became impossible to ignore and Biden named Vice President Kamala Harris as his border czar.
Harris knew Biden tossed a stinker of a job in her lap and quickly tried to spin the media claiming Harris’s real job was to address the root causes of illegal immigration.
Americans did not buy it and as the months passed and hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens poured into the country, Harris’s poll numbers suffered as Americans blamed her for the failure to stem the tide of illegal immigration.
Now the crisis is reaching a breaking point.
Americans are horrified by the images of 15,000 Haitian illegal aliens camped under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas.
Other video shows thousands more marching across sections of the border Joe Biden left wide open.
Members of the corporate media worry this could damage Democrats’ political prospects.
MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle – one of the most reliable Democrat Party propagandists in the corporate media – ranted on air that Harris failed to communicate a message to illegal aliens that the Biden administration closed the border.
“How about the message from our vice president? Where is she?” Ruhle exclaimed. “She was supposed to be in charge of all of these migration issues, going to those Northern Triangle countries — that’s obviously not Haiti — that was one of her first international trips with the message ‘Do not come here illegally.’ People aren’t listening. What is she saying now?”
One reason Harris cannot express a credible message to illegal aliens about the border being closed is because the Biden administration favored open borders policies.
The Biden administration released family units among the Haitian illegal aliens massed in Texas into the interior of the country.
Ruhle’s answer about Harris’s performance as border czar was met with admission that Harris failed.
“Well, we haven’t heard a lot from the vice president. Of course, you point out she was focused on those Northern Triangle countries. A lot of her work was in Guatemala working with that government. A lot of the diplomacy, which was what the vice president was focused on, was with Mexico. And essentially what we’re seeing now is a breakdown of that work with Mexico,” NBC correspondent Julia Ainsley answered.
When Democrats lose the media – especially the far-left activists that populate MSNBC – Democrats know they have a massive political crisis on their hands.
