Kamala Harris has a lot to answer for as this massive failure just blew up in her face.
Harris’ first major assignment after taking office as Vice President came when Joe Biden tapped Harris to serve as his administration’s border czar.
It was a disaster from the start.
The number of illegal aliens pouring over the southern border increased for several months in a row reaching 20-year record high levels.
But that wasn’t even the worst news.
At a time when the administration is now mandating children wear masks in schools and declaring support for local governments and businesses forcing Americans to “get the jab,” the Biden administration turned 50,000 illegal aliens loose inside the country with no court date.
Axios exclusively reports that “About 50,000 migrants who crossed the southern border illegally have now been released in the United States without a court date. Although they are told to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office instead, just 13% have shown up so far, Axios has learned.”
Government officials tell the illegal aliens to report to an ICE facility, but fewer than 1 in five comply with that order.
There is no record of the government checking the illegal aliens vaccination status, and the administration is effectively throwing the border open while imposing restrictions of the freedoms of American citizens in the name of fighting COVID.

By the numbers: Just 6,700 migrants who crossed between mid-March and mid-July showed up at ICE offices as of Monday, one source briefed on Department of Homeland Security data told Axios.
16,000 have not showed up and passed the 60-day reporting window they were given. That’s 2.4 no-shows for every one that has checked in.
Another roughly 27,000 migrants who crossed and were released during the same time frame have yet to turn up, but remain within the 60-day window for reporting. One DHS official emphasized that nearly 70% of migrants are within the 60-day window or have reported to ICE.
The administration is also setting illegal aliens free in America even if they test positive for COVID.
“After an incident at a Whataburger, police in La Joya, TX say they’ve learned illegal immigrants who test positive for COVID-19 are being released from federal custody to a local Catholic charity in the RGV which then places them in local hotels without notice,” Fox News Channel’s Bill Melugin reported.
Harris claims she is not the “border czar” but is only in charge of solving the root causes of illegal immigrations.
Critics dismiss that game of semantics by arguing that the root cause of the current border crisis is Joe Biden rolling out the welcome mat by continually creating magnets that attract new waves of illegal immigration.
