The White House rarely makes Kamala Harris available for interviews.
Democrats don’t want Harris in front of the camera for a reason.
And now Kamala Harris just got humiliated by one simple question.
Last February Joe Biden sent Kamala Harris to the Munich Security Conference as part of a last-ditch effort to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine.
That laughable plan obviously failed.
Now Harris returned to the Munich Security Conference as part of a swamp show of support — RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell also made the trip — for blank-check funding for the Ukrainians.
The administration thought it was safe to have Harris sit for an interview with far-left MSNBC activist Andrea Mitchell.
But even facing a friendly interviewer looking to help Joe Biden and Harris, Harris still melted down.
The corporate media is filled with articles about how Democrats reluctantly support Joe Biden for re-election in 2024 because they know Kamala Harris is next in line and cannot win a general election.
Mitchell asked Harris about why polls show that Joe Biden is unpopular and Kamala Harris is even more unpopular.
“Why do you think the president has such low popularity, favorable ratings, and you have even less favorable ratings? Why do you think that is?” Mitchell asked.
Harris tried to duck the question by claiming when she travels the country, people thank her for the so-called “achievements” of the Biden administration.
“Thanking our administration. I think that what we have to do is focus on what is actually strengthening America and the American people and American families. And when I talk with American families about what they want and what they care about, things like bringing down the cost of health care, bringing down unemployment, doing the work of strengthening and growing America’s work force, including American manufacturing. That’s what the American people want,” Harris began.
Of course the Americans Harris meets thank her.
The White House is not going to put Harris — or Joe Biden for that matter — in front of anyone that might express the slightest criticism of their failed socialist agenda.
Mitchell then mentioned recent articles in The New York Times and POLITICO where Democrats admitted they think Joe Biden is a weak candidate because of his advanced age and low poll ratings, but that they are more terrified of letting Harris be the nominee.
Harris dodged the question again.
“I think that it is very important to focus on the needs of the American people and not political chatter out of Washington, D.C.,” Harris added.
Mitchell referenced Harris’ disastrous 2020 presidential campaign — where Harris dropped out months before the first vote — and asked if Harris still wanted to be president.
“And you obviously ran for president in 2020. You want to be president. Do you still want to be president someday?” Mitchell asked.
Harris again refused to answer the question.
“Joe Biden intends– has said he intends to run for reelection as president. And I intend to run with him as vice president of the United States,” Harris responded.
This interview encapsulated why the White House rarely puts Harris out front and center for interviews and why Democrats don’t want Harris as the nominee.
Harris possesses little in the way of social grace or communication skills.
Kamala Harris has no ability to not answer a question without you realizing she never answered the question and she always acts awkwardly in person.
Voters sensed this which is why her presidential campaign flamed out in such embarrassing fashion.
But Joe Biden thought he needed a black woman on the ticket to drive turnout among the party’s woke base.
And now Democrats are stuck with two people at the top of the ticket that the party would replace in a heartbeat if they could.
