And now Liz Cheney just helped Democrats do one awful thing to Clarence Thomas.
Liz Cheney and the January 6 committee helped Democrats continue their 30-year crusade to destroy conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Liberal rage at Thomas hit its peak this summer when the Supreme Court handed down landmark decisions expanding Second Amendment rights and overturning the horror of Roe v. Wade.
Justice Thomas spent decades pushing to fully protect the right to keep and bear arms as well as ending abortion on demand.
After Thomas won those two victories the left began searching for a way to exact revenge.
Leftists such as members of the so-called “Squad” suggested impeachment.
Cheney and the January 6 committee sought to provide the grounds for Democrats in Congress to impeach Justice Thomas by attacking Thomas’ wife Ginni.
Ginni Thomas is a longtime and well-respected conservative activist who believed Democrats stole the 2020 election from Donald Trump.
And because she used a public website to send a formal email to members of the Arizona legislature and texted Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows urging Trump to contest the election Cheney and her cohorts are smearing Thomas as an insurrectionist.
Now Ginni Thomas agreed to appear before the committee for an interview.

The House select committee investigating January 6, 2021, has come to an agreement with Ginni Thomas, the conservative activist and wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, to be interviewed by the panel in the coming weeks, according to a source close to the committee.
Ginni Thomas’ attorney, Mark Paoletta, confirmed the voluntary interview in a statement, saying, “As she has said from the outset, Mrs. Thomas is eager to answer the Committee’s questions to clear up any misconceptions about her work relating to the 2020 election. She looks forward to that opportunity.”
Members of the panel have long said they are interested in speaking with Thomas, particularly after CNN first reported text messages she exchanged with then-Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows prior to January 6 about overturning the election.
The point of the interview is so Cheney and committee members can fabricate a connection between Ginni Thomas’ belief the election was stolen – which any American is allowed to hold under the First Amendment – and Clarence Thomas’ vote in a case where Justice Thomas was the only justice to side with Trump against the committee.
This is an attack on Justice Thomas’ integrity as well as a smear campaign against the character of his wife.
That is the thin reed Democrats hope to latch onto in order to impeach Justice Thomas.
