Mark Levin is one of the biggest stars in talk radio and conservative media.
But one of Levin’s colleagues at Fox News is not a fan of Levin.
And now Mark Levin just revealed which top Fox News star banned him from their show.
During a recent broadcast Levin played a clip of Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton on the Fox News show “America’s Newsroom.”
The name of the show stuck out to Levin and Levin shared with his audience that he’s never appeared on that show because co-host Dana Perino hates him.
“That’s the Bill Hemmer, Dana Perino show,” Levin told listeners. “You know I’ve never been invited on that show, Mr. Producer? You want to know why? Dana hates me. Yeah, it’s true.”
Levin explained that Perino “doesn’t like me [because] she’s a Bush-y, and I’m not. She’s a Rove-ite, and I’m not. So, they take these things very personally, I think.”
Perino worked in the Bush administration ascending to the position of press secretary.
In Republican politics, Perino is aligned with the George Bush/Karl Rove/John McCain-establishment wing of the GOP as opposed to Levin who is a movement conservative, a Tea Party supporter and a pro-Trump voice in conservative media.
Levin had nothing but kind words for Perino’s co-host Bill Hemmer.
“Bill Hemmer has called me in the past. He’s actually a very nice guy if you want to know the truth,” Levin stated.
But Levin hammered away at Perino’s association with Karl Rove, a Republican strategist with a legendary record of failure.
Levin pointed to Rove’s recent failure as the head of an effort to boost the GOP in redistricting fights.
The GOP controlled the ability to redraw more than twice as many congressional districts as Democrats.
Instead the Rove-led effort proved to be a disaster as the GOP played it safe in states where they had an advantage and did not redraw the lines to eliminate Democrat seats.
Democrats nuked Republican districts in states like New York and Illinois where they held the upper-hand.
But as typical of establishment Republicans, Rove and his group never fought the Democrats.
“He was supposed to be part of the group that was going to fight tooth and nail and defeat these efforts of gerrymandering that would blow out the Republicans, and he’s utterly failed. He’s failed at most of what he does,” Levin explained.
Levin said Perino won’t have him on the show because Levin is critical of the Republican establishment – of which Perino is a card-carrying member.
“I raise these things. I’m critical of these things, so I’m just not part of the social circle,” Levin summarized.
