Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has been in political exile since NBC fired her last year.
That all just changed.
And Megyn Kelly went public with this jaw-dropping admission about Brett Kavanaugh.
Megyn Kelly began to rest on thin ice at NBC when she began to question the accusations Christine Blasey Ford lobbed at Brett Kavanaugh about an alleged attempted sexual assault at a high school party.
Kelly expressed skepticism to the truthfulness of Blasey Ford’s claims.
But Kelly just went one step further and accused Blasey Ford of being part of a Democrat conspiracy to bring down Kavanaugh.
Kelly made her shocking comments in reference to the CIA spy filing a whistleblower complaint against President Trump over a July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian President.
The former Fox News anchor noticed some big time tells that the CIA so-called “whistleblower” was running the same partisan playbook as Christine Blasey Ford.
“So Schiff coordinated w/whistle-blower from the start. And Blasey-Ford ran to Democrat partisan lawyers/reps in Kavanaugh. And those who said, maybe politics is at play, get dismissed as Trump sycophants. Come on,” Kelly wrote.
In the Blasey Ford case, she initially sent her false claims of attempted sexual assault to Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Then Blasey Ford hired notoriously partisan Democrat lawyers.
That was exactly the script the CIA spy followed with their supposed “whistleblower” complaint.
In a subsequent social media post, Kelly went even further, questioning if the CIA spy was even truly a whistleblower.
“’Whistleblower’ is the label put out by Schiff (who – despite his false denial – had advance notice this was coming) & co to the press. Decide for yourself whether the label applies here,” Kelly wrote when she shared an article by left-wing journalist Matt Taibbi in Rolling Stone that questioned if the CIA spy deserved the label.
Taibbi noted this so-called “whistleblower” was treated like a hero whereas past whistleblowers that exposed illegal government spying and other abuses faced jail time, financial ruin and were forced to flee the country and live their lives on the run.
“Americans who’ve blown the whistle over serious offenses by the federal government either spend the rest of their lives overseas, like Edward Snowden, end up in jail, like Chelsea Manning, get arrested and ruined financially, like former NSA official Thomas Drake, have their homes raided by FBI like disabled NSA vet William Binney, or get charged with espionage like ex-CIA exposer-of-torture John Kiriakou. It’s an insult to all of these people, and the suffering they’ve weathered, to frame the ballcarrier in the Beltway’s latest partisan power contest as a whistleblower,” Taibbi wrote.
Taibbi contends – as do many Trump supporters – that this fictitious Ukraine scandal is just an extension of past attempts to drive Donald Trump from office.
And Megyn Kelly is also picking up some similarities to previous Democrat character assassination operations.
