Megyn Kelly feuded with Donald Trump when she was at Fox News.
Now that she works for left-wing NBC, her fight with Trump was expected to continue.
But she went on TV and dropped the one truth that turned everything upside down.
Megyn Kelly Turns The Tables On The Democrats
Megyn Kelly addressed Christine Ford’s rape accusations against Brett Kavanaugh on her daytime talk show.
Kelly helped take down former Fox News President Roger Ailes.
Her claims that Ailes sexually harassed her were the final straw.
Fox News fired Ailes when Kelly told her story to investigators.
Given that, and her history with Trump, NBC’s liberal audience expected Kelly to side with Ford.
But things did not go exactly as planned.
Kelly blamed Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Ford wrote an anonymous letter and passed it off to her Congresswoman.
The Congresswoman, in turn, gave it to Feinstein.
Feinstein brought Ford’s allegations into the public light by giving her letter to the FBI.
However, she sat on the letter for two months.
She didn’t release until just days before Kavanaugh’s final vote.
Kelly said Feinstein was responsible for the chaos.
“I think Dianne Feinstein bears a lot of the blame here because this woman found a way to come forward and Dianne Feinstein buried it,” she said.
“Christine Blasey Ford found a way [to come forward],” she continued. “Why wouldn’t Dianne Feinstein say at least anonymously to Brett Kavanaugh when she met with him one-on-one, ‘I’ve received a serious allegation. I need to raise it with you?’”
What Happens Next
Republicans set a hearing for Monday.
But Ford’s lawyers are saying the earliest she can testify is Thursday.
This is a scam.
Ricki Seidman, a Democratic political operative, is advising Ford.
Seidman worked for Joe Biden during the 2008 Presidential campaign.
Seidman also spent time working for Senator Ted Kennedy.
Ford working with Seidman is further proof this whole episode was a Democratic political hit job from the get-go.
Republicans tried every way to get Ford to testify on Monday.
But she rejected every one.
Now she wants to stall until Thursday.
It’s clear what is going on.
Ford is working with the Democrats to delay the vote.
They are hoping to push the vote past the midterms.
They wager the Democrats can win the Senate and block any Trump nominee for years.
How Republicans Will Respond
Republicans want to confirm Kavanaugh as soon as possible.
If they agree to Ford’s demands, they run a big risk.
She could come back with more “conditions” to further delay the vote.
But if Republicans do not meet with her, the media will scream that they ignored a “victim.”
RINO Senators Jeff Flake, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski are also part of the problem.
Collins and Murkowski support abortion.
Flake hates Trump.
But Republicans can only afford to lose two of them on a vote.
That’s why Republicans have to tap dance around this issue even though Megyn Kelly pointed out that it is the Democrats fault.
