Mike Pence broke with Donald Trump and his conservative base once again.
This time Mike Pence rushed to the defense of the FBI after Attorney General Merrick Garland enlisted the FBI to harass Donald Trump as part of the left’s latest witch hunt.
In a forum in New Hampshire Pence admonished conservatives critical of the FBI’s political bias and banana republic tactics.
According to Pence, conservatives needed to sit silent in the face of obvious FBI and Justice Department corruption.
“Our party stands with the men and women who stand on the thin blue line at the federal, state, and local levels. These attacks on the FBI must stop,” Pence whined. “Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police.”
Pence scampering to defend the FBI like their white knight in shining armor came on the same day the FBI finally returned the passports they stole from Donald Trump during the siege at Mar-a-Lago.
“The DOJ and FBI just returned my passports. Thank you! Unfortunately, when they Raided my home, Mar-a-Lago, 8 days ago, they just opened their arms and grabbed everything in sight, much as a common criminal would do. This shouldn’t happen in America!” Trump posted on Truth Social.
Trump also pointed out the shady behavior of the FBI during the Mar-a-Lago break-in as agents demanded staff turn off the compound’s security cameras.
“In the Raid of Mar-a-Lago, the FBI demanded that all security cameras be turned off. What is that all about? We said no!” Trump added.

And why would the FBI want to ransack Donald Trump’s home in secrecy with no accountability?
After four years of the FBI spreading lies, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories about Russian collusion as part of a coup attempt to overthrow Donald Trump, the FBI does not deserve the benefit of the doubt.
Mike Pence adopted a similar reflexive defense of the FBI that Liz Cheney did.
The days of Republicans nominating dignified losers who see rolling over for the left and surrendering as a great honor and service to the nation are over.
But unfortunately for Mike Pence he hails from a wing of the GOP that tries to pretend the 2016 election never happened – even though it vaulted Pence to the greatest political heights of his career.
