Former Vice President Mike Pence finally came clean.
Mike Pence went on Fox News and made this revealing comment about Donald Trump.
Pence is still trying to position himself for a 2024 presidential run.
But that means Pence still has to reconcile his relationship with Donald Trump.
If Trump runs for president in 2024 – as seems likely – there is zero chance Pence will run.
Should Trump pass on a third White House bid then it opens the door for Pence to run as the establishment candidate.
However, Pence still faces severe obstacles in the form of Donald Trump opposing him because of what happened on January 6.
Trump criticized Pence for not rejecting the counts from states Trump stated were the result of voter fraud.
Pence cited the Constitution and the law to rebuff Trump’s request and made Joe Biden’s 306 to 232 edge in the Electoral College official.
After a small number of Trump supporters that attendeda massive rally entered the Capitol, Pence finished the job of counting the Electoral College votes and declaring Joe Biden the president.
In an interview with Sean Hannity, Pence told Hannity that he and Trump “talked through all of it” and that the two “parted amicably.”
Many Trump supporters do not believe that to be the case as Donald Trump repeatedly avoids mentioning Mike Pence’s name when interviewers ask Trump to name future leaders of the Republican Party.
Pence expanded on his views of the events of January 6 and tore into the corporate media fake news lie that Trump supporters staged an insurrection that day.
Some Trump supporters got violent – and they deserve to face criminal penalties for violence – but most others walked through the doors to the Capitol and walked around for a bit and snapped selfies.
There was never any actual danger of the government falling and the whole episode was over in a matter of hours.
Pence told Hannity the media hyped up the events of January 6 to target all 74,000,000 Trump voters as insurrectionists and domestic terrorists.
“I know the media wants to distract from the Biden administration’s failed agenda by focusing on one day in January. They want to use that one day to try and demean the character and intentions of 74 million Americans who believed we could be strong again and prosperous again and supported our administration in 2016 and 2020,” Pence told Hannity.
With Joe Biden’s approval numbers cratering the corporate media believes the only chance for Democrats to hang on to power in 2024 is to brand the GOP as toxic in the minds of swing voters by painting a false picture that Republicans are an authoritarian movement out to overthrow democracy.
After months of silence on this matter, Pence finally came around to realizing the game the media played.
