As soon as RINO Never-Trumper Mitt Romney won his election to the Senate in November, fake news reporters began wondering how he would use his perch.
Many speculated he would run against Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican Presidential primary.
And all hell is breaking loose now that Romney has revealed how he plans to challenge Trump.
Romney made his intentions clear in a bombshell Washington Post op-ed.
In an extreme act of treason, Romney announced Trump was of poor character and that Trump did not encourage Americans to agree with Democrats on every issue.
“To a great degree, a presidency shapes the public character of the nation. A president should unite us and inspire us to follow “our better angels.” A president should demonstrate the essential qualities of honesty and integrity, and elevate the national discourse with comity and mutual respect. As a nation, we have been blessed with presidents who have called on the greatness of the American spirit. With the nation so divided, resentful and angry, presidential leadership in qualities of character is indispensable. And it is in this province where the incumbent’s shortfall has been most glaring,” Romney wrote.
Romney whined that Trump ended Barack Obama’s endless war in Syria.
The Never-Trump Romney complained that this caused the globalists who supported Obama’s agenda to resign from the administration.
The two-time failed Presidential candidate also claimed he would speak out against any ‘bigoted’ statements from President Trump.
“Furthermore, I will act as I would with any president, in or out of my party: I will support policies that I believe are in the best interest of the country and my state, and oppose those that are not. I do not intend to comment on every tweet or fault. But I will speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions,” Romney continued.
The fake news media cheered Romney’s op-ed.
Some thought it implied he would run for President against Trump in 2020.
Very significant. Makes you think about what he might do in 2020. As Mike Murphy said on my pod a yr ago, he's told Mitt to run in 2020: "Who is a comfortable Republican, super-confident, safe, no drama choice? It's Mitt" https://t.co/yTCGnHUSRN pic.twitter.com/t96idBv3sS

Of course, Trump supporters and conservatives were not surprised that Romney issued this op-ed just two days before taking office.
Operating as a two-faced liar is Romney’s defining characteristic as a politician.
In 1994, he ran as a gun-grabbing, baby-killing RINO in a Senate race against Ted Kennedy.
Fast forward to 2012, Romney campaigned as a supposed “severely conservative” candidate for President against Obama.
The same shifting set of allegiances played out with Trump.
In 2012, Romney begged for Trump’s endorsement in the primaries.
By 2016, he was sucking up to the media and delivering speeches calling Trump a “con man” and a “fraud.”
But then when Trump won the election, Romney cast those attacks aside and indicated a willingness to serve the President as Secretary of State.
And in 2017, when Romney wanted to be a Senator from Utah, he sought out the President’s endorsement.
Now safely in office, Romney has once again returned to his role as Trump-critic-in-chief.
Conservatives note that he never attacked Obama in 2012.
Romney sat back and did nothing as Obama’s campaign cast him as a greedy, corporate raider who took pleasure in killing his employee’s wife by giving her cancer.
Romney’s op-ed makes it clear once-and-for-all that establishment Republicans view conservatives and President Trump as an enemy that must be defeated.
And they view the Democrats as their brothers in arms whom they can work alongside to sell out America and advance the swamp’s agenda.
