Just when you thought Robert Mueller and his gang of 17 angry Democrats could not stoop any lower, they find a new way to shock the senses of the American people.
Mueller is desperate to present a report “proving” Donald Trump worked in concert with the Russians during the 2016 election.
And this scary attack on Trump’s kids has everyone on edge.
Mueller’s latest gambit is investigating Trump and his family for perfectly legal business dealings and colluding with the fake news media to present normal activity as sinister.
So-called “journalists” ran with the story that former Trump fixer Michael Cohen admitted to lying about a proposed deal to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
Cohen told Congress the Trump Organization walked away from the deal in January 2016 when in reality they dropped the talks in June 2016.
The fake news media – as well as many Democrats – picked up on Mueller’s unspoken cue and claimed Trump’s proposed business relationship with Moscow compromised his campaign.
Trump repeatedly said during the campaign that he had no deals in Russia – which is true. The Moscow Trump Tower never came to fruition.
But what Mueller and his allies in the fake news media want you to believe is that the characters in Trump’s world – like Michael Cohen – lied about innocent matters to cover up their scheme to conspire with Russia to rig the 2016 election.
And now Mueller has launched phase two of this plan.
He is pursuing Donald Trump, Jr. and Ivanka Trump for another legitimate business deal in Russia back in 2013 – two full years before their father announced his White House campaign.
Trump, Jr. and Ivanka’s work on the Moscow project amounted to nothing.
This is common in business.
Projects are proposed and then abandoned all the time.
They dropped the project in 2013, and as a source told Yahoo News, “They were not looking at any other deals after that.”
But this is how Mueller operates.
He takes perfectly legal activities – like Cohen working on a Trump Tower proposal in Moscow or Michael Flynn’s December 2016 phone call to the Russian Ambassador – and creates process crimes by looking for misstatements and then filing charges for lying to investigators.
That allows his allies in the fake news media to run with stories about how Mueller racked up 32 indictments and multiple guilty pleas from Trump associates.
Now Trump supporters are worried Mueller and his mob of 17 Democrat pit bull prosecutors are about to pull the same underhanded stunt with Trump’s children.
He needs to dig further back into their business dealings because Donald Trump, Jr. testified to the Senate Intelligence Committee that he knew about Cohen’s Russia negotiations.
So to create another process crime – or try and frame Trump for conspiring with the Russians – Mueller is reaching back to the failed 2013 Moscow deal to create the appearance that Trump’s “ties” to Russia go back even farther than anyone suspected.
“Michael was looking at that deal. Don and Ivanka knew about it and Don testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he was peripherally aware of it,” Yahoo’s source also stated. “That’s why we’re so perplexed Cohen would lie about briefing them, because no one’s ever disputed that they knew he was looking at it.”
