Americans nervously awaited the outcome in the trial of the police officer accused of killing George Floyd.
Democrats spent days whipping up the threat of riots.
And Nancy Pelosi’s reaction to the George Floyd trial verdict will leave you speechless.
After ten hours of deliberations, jurors convicted Officer Derek Chauvin on charges of second and third-degree murder as well as manslaughter in Floyd’s death.
Some on the left were angry because they did not feel one police officer going to jail was punishment enough.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison claimed the guilty verdict was accountability and not justice.
A commentator on MSNBC claimed the verdict only made him angry.
But Nancy Pelosi’s reaction took the cake.
After the jury announced the guilty verdict,Pelosi held a press conference where Pelosi thanked George Floyd for dying because the ensuing riots and racial unrest helped the Democrats seize power.
“Thank you, George Floyd—for sacrificing your life for justice,” Pelosi declared.
“For being there, to call out to your mom—how, how heartbreaking was that? Call out for your mom. ‘I can’t breathe,’” Pelosi continued.
Pelosi praised Floyd’s death for inspiring the ensuing violent protests and riots and added that “because of you and because of thousands, millions of people around the world, who came out for justice, your name will always be synonymous.”
Pelosi was not the only high-profile leftist to bizarrely use this occasion to praise George Floyd for dying.
The First Lady of California Jennifer Siebel Newsom praised Floyd’s death as helping cure toxic masculinity and racism.
“George Floyd should still be alive today. And while nothing will bring him back or heal the unthinkable pain his killing caused his family and Black Americans everywhere, today’s verdict offers a retribution on toxic masculinity and a ray of light in the fight for racial justice,” Siebel Newsom tweeted.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey joined the chorus of leftists looking for the silver lining in Floyd’s death claiming that Floyd dying made Minneapolis a better place.
“George Floyd came to Minneapolis to better his life. But ultimately his life will have bettered our city. The jury joined in a shared conviction that has animated Minneapolis for the last 11 months. They refused to look away and affirmed he should still be here today,” Frey wrote on social media.
Floyd’s death led to days of deadly riots where Black Lives Matter insurrectionists burned a Minneapolis police precinct to the ground on live television.
Many wondered how that reign of mayhem made Minneapolis a better place.
Nancy Pelosi and other liberals’ reactions to the guilty verdict in this trial exposed the ugly truth that Democrats never cared about George Floyd to begin with.
They viewed his main use in life as dying to kickstart a revolution they hoped would sweep them into power.
