Barack Obama inflamed racial tensions in America.
He embraced Black Lives Matter and threw down the race card at every chance.
Now shocking new numbers show that under his administration, white people were under this awful attack.
During the last year of Barack Obama’s Presidency, hate crimes against white Americans skyrocketed nearly 20 percent.
The Daily Caller reports:
“A new FBI report indicates that hate crimes committed against white Americans are the fastest growing racial hate crimes in the United States.
The FBI report on 2016 Hate Crime Statistics shows that in 2016, there were 876 reported anti-white hate crime offenses in the United States. In 2015, this number was 734, indicating a 19.34 percent increase.
There were more racial hate crime offenses altogether in 2016 compared to 2015.
There were 4,029 single-bias incidents that targeted “Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry” in 2015, compared to 4,229 in 2016.
Anti-Hispanic or Latino hate crimes also increased in 2016. In 2015, the number of offenses targeting Hispanic/Latino Americans was 379. In 2016, that increased to 449, an increase of 18.46 percent. Anti-Black hate crimes actually declined by three offenses.
Within religious hate crimes, there were also increases. Anti-Jewish hate crimes increased by 20 percent and anti-Islamic hate crimes increased by 26.57 percent. Anti-Catholic hate crimes also slightly increased.”
The end of the Obama administration was dominated by racial identity politics.
From his support for amnesty to inviting the racist and anti-cop Black Lives Matter movement leaders to the White House and his comments about how Trayvon Martin could have been his son, Obama thrived on promoting racial division.
Polls showed that Americans felt race relations under Barack Obama had deteriorated.
CNN reports:
“A majority of Americans say relations between blacks and whites in the US have worsened under President Barack Obama, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.
The survey results come as an increasing number say discrimination against blacks is a very serious problem and concerns about bias in the criminal justice system remain widespread.
Overall, 54% say relations between blacks and whites have gotten worse since Obama became president, including 57% of whites and 40% of blacks. That’s up sharply compared with last June, when 43% said things had gotten worse shortly after a racially motivated shooting at a black church in Charleston, South Carolina.”
Obama cultivated an environment of racial resentment and discord.
He believed dividing Americans up by racial identity would mobilize Democratic voting constituencies.
It blew up in his face when Americans rejected identity politics by electing Donald Trump.
But before that occurred, some Americans paid the price as victims of hate crimes because of the racial strife Obama engineered.
