NFL fans are fed up with the anti-American national anthem protests.
But players continue to poke a stick in their eyes by disrespecting the flag.
Now one player just paid the ultimate price for his racist protest during the national anthem.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones drew a hard line on the national anthem protests.
He warned that any player who disrespected the flag would be benched.
That message didn’t sink in for Cowboys defensive end Damontre Moore.
Moore protested the anthem by raising his fist in a racist black power gesture.
He was then handed his walking papers when the Cowboys released him in the days after the game.
While the team said it had nothing to do with his racist protest, fans were thrilled that at least one of the spoiled millionaires who’s been spitting on America was finally held accountable for his racist actions.
The New York Daily News reports:
“The Cowboys released Moore in order to make room to sign kicker Mike Nugent, the team announced Wednesday.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has publicly stated he believes all players should stand for the anthem and recently said he believes anthem protests are hurting the NFL.
While no Cowboys player has kneeled or sat during the anthem, Moore was one of two players who continued to raise his fist at the conclusion of “The Star-Spangled Banner” in recent weeks after Jones previously talked to players and explained his feelings on the matter.
Jason Garrett said the issue of cutting Moore was strictly a football decision.
“We had to make a roster move and we just felt like the best decision for our team was to release Damontre Moore,” Garrett told reporters, per Pro Football Talk.
Garrett simply answered “no” when asked if the decision to cut Moore had anything to do with his post-anthem protest or his recent off-the-field incident.”
Fans are sick of the America hating players and their radical left-wing politics.
Ratings are down nearly 19 percent from 2015 – the last season before Colin Kaepernick began kneeling for the anthem.
Photos race across social media showing empty stadiums.
But the NFL will not make their players stand for the anthem.
Instead, the league is diving head first into planning to promote the players’ Black Lives Matter political agenda.
Donald Trump said owners should fire players who they see disrespect our great flag and anthem.
It looks like Jerry Jones is taking that advice.
Do you agree that players who protest the anthem should be fired?
