Dr. Fauci is getting some more bad news.
Many Americans are wondering what took so long.
And one senator just went on Fox News and said Dr. Fauci committed this criminal act.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul appeared on Fox News and accused Dr. Fauci of lying during Senate testimony when Fauci claimed the National Institute of Allery and Infectious Diseases—which Fauci leads—and the National Institutes of Health never funded gain-of-function research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
This point shot to the forefront of concern for many Americans as the evidence piled up pointing in the direction of the coronavirus outbreak beginning with a lab leak.
Senator Paul accused Fauci of lying and pointed to the research being done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology byDr. Shi Zhengli that Paul declared fit the definition of gain-of-function.
“Absolutely, he lied to the America people. There was gain of function research going on with Dr. Shi Zhengli at the Wuhan Institute,” Paul began.
Paul added that a paper by Dr. Zhengli thanked Dr. Fauci and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as well as the National Institutes of Health for funding her research.
“In her paper, she actually thanked Dr. Fauci and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is a part of National Institutes of Health (NIH) that Dr. Fauci runs,” Paul explained.
“It’s listed at the end of the paper. This paper was fined by NIAID research and it lists a ten-digit number that identifies the research money she got from the United States. Was it gain of function?” Paul continued.
Paul then detailed why he believed Dr. Fauci was lying when he said his agency never funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“Well it took a SARS virus, which is a coronavirus, that’s 15 times more deadly than COVID, and it added to it S protein, which is something in the surface of it, to make it more easily infectious to epithelial cells for the respiratory tract. That to me is gain of function,” Senator Paul exclaimed.
For over a year the corporate media dismissed the idea that the coronavirus escaped from a Communist Chinese bioweapons lab as a conspiracy theory and the talk of cranks.
Dr. Fauci was one of the “experts” the media leaned on to smear anyone that questioned the official story coming from the Communist Chinese government about the virus originating from a wet market as a tin foil hat-wearing loon.
But now critics like Tucker Carlson allege that Dr. Fauci misled the public about his agency using taxpayer money to fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology because Fauci feared the public reaction when Americans learned that their money has funded the outbreak.
And Senator Rand Paul believes he caught Dr. Fauci in a lie to cover up the truth.
