Donald Trump and tens of millions of his supporters believe the 2020 election was stolen.
Now all is breaking loose.
And that’s because this senator may file the one objection that keeps Joe Biden out of the White House.
The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a hearing yesterday on voting irregularities and fraud in the 2020 election.
There was clearly some level of fraud in the 2020 election.
Anyone in the Democrat Party, Never Trump movement or fake news media that claims otherwise is lying.
Senators on the committee wanted to ferret out how much fraud there really was.
Republican Congressman Mo Brooks is looking for one Republican senator to object to the Electoral College results on January 6 to stop certification of what Brooks says is a fraudulent election.
Brooks believes Donald Trump won the 2020 election and this is the final long, long, long shot bid to stop an illegitimate Joe Biden from taking office.
Now Brooks and some of his allies in the House think they may have found their one senator.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul made it clear he believes the election was not on the level and states need to crack down on dangerous mail-in voting.
“A lot of the laws that have to be confirmed and I think reaffirmed are state laws, so it’s not in our purview,” Paul stated. “But the state laws are set, and then we have federal elections. So what we’ve heard about what happened in Wisconsin, what happened in Nevada, I think is absolutely true and we have to prevent it from happening again.”
In Nevada, the state Republican Party used DMV records to find that thousands of noncitizens illegally voted after the state adopted a risky universal mail-in voting scheme.
But Paul warned that any changes to election law needed to come at the state level because Democrats want to federalize elections with universal mail-in voting schemes.
“I think state legislatures will need to reaffirm that election law can only be changed by a state legislature,” Paul added.
Senator Paul concluded by stating matter-of-factly that voter fraud is real and, in many ways, the 2020 election was stolen.
“The fraud happened. The election in many ways was stolen, and the only way it will be fixed is by in the future reinforcing the laws,” Paul added.
This led to speculation that Senator Paul would object to Electoral College results on January 6.
Paul did not tip his hand, but did not rule it out.
“I haven’t thought about it, or made any plans to do anything,” Senator Paul told the fake news media.
Senator Paul also said he “wasn’t part of that phone call” where Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell begged Republicans not to object to the results.
No other Republican has indicated they will object to the Electoral College results on January 6.
Senator Paul looks like Trump supporters’ last best hope.
