There is no doubt the Democrats want to impeach President Trump.
Democrats in Congress are biding their time and waiting for the right time to strike.
Now Nancy Pelosi just revealed if she will impeach Donald Trump over this sex scandal.
Democrats and their allies in the fake news media seized on advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s claim in her new “anti-man” book that Donald Trump raped her in Bergdorf Goodman’s dressing room in the mid-1990s.
CNN gave her TV time to air her bizarre and incoherent claims, meanwhile, other Democrats demanded an investigation.
But Nancy Pelosi was not one of them.
Reporters asked Pelosi if she planned to use Carroll’s accusations as part of the investigations – which are really the early stages of an impeachment inquiry – against President Trump.
Pelosi dismissed this right off the bat claiming Democrats were too busy to investigate rape allegations against the President of the United States.
“My gosh, we’re so immersed in what’s happening in Iran, what’s happening at our border, so many policy issues that we have responsibility for, including keeping our elections safe today, as well as protecting the children to the best of our ability, I haven’t spent any time on that and I just am not—I don’t know the people you’re referencing, I don’t know the person making the accusation… I just am not, I haven’t paid that much attention to it,” Pelosi stammered.
Pelosi even went so far as to claim it was the Republicans job to look into Carroll’s allegations.
“But in any of these things, this is not about what Congress would do, this is about what the president’s own Party would do, you’d really have to ask them. I’m worried about children not being in their mother’s arms because of policies that we may have,” Speaker Pelosi added.
Of course, there is only one reason Pelosi would not want to add Carroll’s rape charges to the pile of investigations Democrats plan to launch against President Trump.
And it’s because Pelosi can smell a political disaster a mile away.
The simple fact is Carroll is not a credible accuser.
In her book, Carroll claimed Bergdorf Goodman’s surveillance camera picked up her and Trump entering the store.
No such footage has surfaced to back up her claim.
And then Carroll sat for a series of increasingly bizarre interviews on MSNBC and CNN.
Carroll claimed she did not want to report her rape to the police because it was disrespectful to the illegal alien women being raped every day at the border.
Then Carroll told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that she did not consider what Trump did as rape and that the American people “find rape sexy” because of the “fantasies.”
Pelosi wants no part of this train wreck, so it was no surprise she took a hard pass on using it as a basis for impeachment.
