Robert Mueller’s witch hunt has reached its one year mark.
The goal of impeaching Donald Trump has not changed.
But this number just proved Robert Mueller is in deep trouble.
The Department of Justice is required to regularly report on the cost of Mueller’s investigation.
That number was just released and Mueller has rung up a staggering $17 million dollar tab.
The Department of Justice issued a press release attempting to defend this outrageous waste of taxpayer money.
The release stated,
“The department will continue to dedicate and leverage resources to maintain strong program and financial management controls. Management takes its program and financial accountability seriously and is dedicated to ensuring that funds are used in a responsible and transparent manner.”
A little over a week before this report was released, President Trump blasted Mueller for spending nearly $20 million on a witch hunt that has produced no evidence of collusion.
….At what point does this soon to be $20,000,000 Witch Hunt, composed of 13 Angry and Heavily Conflicted Democrats and two people who have worked for Obama for 8 years, STOP! They have found no Collussion with Russia, No Obstruction, but they aren’t looking at the corruption…

The media predictably assumed an offensive posture and accused Trump of being a liar and spreading misinformation to undermine the credibility of the Mueller investigation.
One of the ring leaders of this media pile-on was CNN’s Chris Cillizza.
Cillizza posted an article claiming Trump told 11 falsehoods in five tweets.
The CNN analyst cited the tweet where Trump blasted the cost and lack of results of the Mueller probe as a lie.
Cillizza wrote,
“There’s zero factual basis — at least that I can find — for Trump putting a $20 million price tag on the Mueller probe. The closest we have come to a fact-based cost for the Mueller probe is back in December, when the investigation’s total cost was $6.7 million.”
The article also claimed Trump was incorrect because all of Mueller’s findings are not yet public—despite the fact no individual has been indicted for conspiring with Russia nor has any evidence of collusion been produced.
Today’s report proves Trump was correct on both counts, making it bad news for Mueller and conspiracy theorists like Cillizza.
Trump was 100 percent correct that the probe has accumulated only an astronomical price tab.
And Trump is also 100 percent correct to say that it has produced no evidence of collusion.
Cillizza may claim it’s because the investigation isn’t complete, but that is like saying no one can say Big Foot is a hoax because a couple of hunters are still out in the woods searching for his trail.
Mueller’s probe has not indicted one American for colluding with the Russians.
The charges against Trump officials Mike Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos and Rick Gates were from unrelated financial crimes from a decade before they met Trump.
Trump has cold, hard facts to back up his case that will continue to drive down support for Mueller’s investigation.
Recent polls have shown Republicans are losing faith in Mueller and beginning to oppose his witch hunt.
A May Monmouth University survey found the percentage of Americans who believed Mueller should end his investigation shot up ten percent.
The American people are increasingly realizing the Mueller probe is a costly – and thinly designed coup – to frame the President of the United States and nullify the 2016 election.
