And now Ron DeSantis dropped the hammer on Hollywood liberals about one major sex scandal.
Governor DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education bill into law.
This commonsense legislation prohibits teaching sexual orientation or gender identity in grades K-3.
Democrats and their activist allies in the corporate media all lied about the legislation falsely claiming it was the “Don’t Say Gay” bill intended to bully homosexuals.
At the signing ceremony DeSantis defended the bill explaining that a core value for the state of Florida is parental involvement in their children’s education.
“In Florida, we not only know that parents have a right to be involved, we insist that parents have a right to be involved,” DeSantis explained.
During the Academy Awards, the show’s three hosts Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall repeatedly shouted the word “gay” to massive applause from the assembled stars.
DeSantis fired back stating that same room full of elite Hollywood liberals spent decades looking the other way as disgraced former mega producer Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted women.
“If the people who held up degenerates like Harvey Weinstein as exemplars and as heroes and as all that, if those are the types of people that are opposing us on parents’ rights, I wear that like a badge of honor,” DeSantis began.
Governor DeSantis told the audience that the people in Hollywood were afraid to come out and say they support indoctrinating five-year-olds with the transgender ideology as well as sexualizing young children.
“They don’t want to admit that they support a lot of the things that we’re providing protections against,” Governor DeSantis stated.
“For example, they support sexualizing kids in kindergarten. They support injecting woke gender ideology into second grade classrooms. … And so what they’re doing with these slogans and these narratives is they are trying to camouflage their true intentions,” Governor DeSantis added.
The Parental Rights in Education bill is broadly popular.
A recent poll found 52 percent of Floridians supported the bill with just 35 percent opposing.
Another poll showed that 52 percent of Democrats backed the bill’s goal to keep teachings about gender identity and sexual orientation out of young children’s classrooms.
The extreme cultural left – as encapsulated by the lunatic left of Hollywood – captured control of the Democrat Party.
That’s led Democrats to embrace a politically toxic agenda of brainwashing children in schools with unpopular ideologies like critical race theory and transgenderism.
