Florida Governor Ron DeSantis keeps showing why he is the Republican outside of Donald Trump that Democrats fear the most.
DeSantis made a fool out of liberals once again.
Ron DeSantis sent Barack Obama a message that no Democrat will ever forget.
Governor DeSantis signed a 2022-2023 budget in Florida that included $12 million in funding to relocate illegal aliens.
Florida was one of the red states Joe Biden smuggled illegal aliens to in dead-of-night flights with no warning.
Governor DeSantis was not content to write sternly-worded letters and then drop the matter.
Instead, DeSantis took action.
Governor DeSantis flew two planes full of 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, the upper-crust vacation home of wealthy liberals including Barack and Michelle Obama.
DeSantis administration Communications Director Taryn Fenske confirmed the flights to Martha’s Vineyard.
“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” Fenske stated.
Fenske explained that blue states’ eagerness to declare themselves sanctuaries for illegal aliens made it a no-brainer for Florida to transport illegal aliens that Joe Biden trafficked into Florida to those jurisdictions.
“States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,” Fenske continued.
“As you may know, in this past legislative session the Florida legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law,” Fenske added.
Democrats in Congress and the corporate media howled in outrage.
One CNN host even compared DeSantis flying illegal aliens to one of the wealthiest communities in America to the Holocaust.
But DeSantis stood firm and noted that Democrat-run sanctuary states and cities boasted about ignoring federal immigration laws to coddle illegal aliens.
“There was no warning on any of this. … And all those people in D.C. in New York were beating their chests when Trump was president, saying they were so proud of the sanctuary jurisdictions,” DeSantis said before adding that liberals now “go berserk and they’re so upset that this is happening.
“And it just shows you, you know, their virtue signaling is a fraud, ok?” DeSantis concluded. “They are supporting policies that are just frankly indefensible. It is not defensible for a superpower to not have any control over the territory of its country, over the borders of its country.”
