Megan Rapinoe and the rest of the anti-American U.S. women’s soccer team players are trying to start a political movement.
And they are taking dead aim at President Trump.
But Rush Limbaugh told one truth the U.S. women’s soccer team didn’t want to hear.
Megan Rapinoe is the new Colin Kaepernick in terms of being the face of the left transforming sports from athletic competitions to social justice acts of performance art.
Rapinoe made waves by blasting President Trump and profanely refusing a White House invitation should the team win the Women’s World Cup.
The U.S. team accomplished that feat and instead of unifying the country around a moment of national pride – like the U.S. Olympic Hockey team did after defeating the Soviets in the “Miracle on Ice” in 1980 – Rapinoe used the victory to further smear the President.
Rapinoe went on Anderson Cooper’s CNN program and smeared the President as a bigot claiming Trump “Make American Great Again” message excluded homosexuals like Rapinoe.
Many critics wondered why Rapinoe thinks homosexuals don’t want to see America made great through a strong economy and fair trade deals, but Cooper predictably praised her answer.
But Rush Limbaugh saw something else going on.
And Limbaugh believes Rapinoe is running a massive fraud.
Limbaugh began by stating that Trump never talks about homosexuals or their demands for special rights.
“There’s not a single utterance ever from Donald Trump on the subject. And, you know what? Anderson Cooper doesn’t care, as long as she’s saying it, mission accomplished. Cooper then said, “Can you see a day where you do put your hand over your heart and sing the national anthem?” Limbaugh began.
That’s when Limbaugh got to the heart of the matter.
The top rated talk show host revealed that Rapinoe was all about the money.
Rapinoe saw how Kaepernick cashed on his anti-American protests by signing a big money deal to become a Nike brand ambassador.
“So here we have the captain of the American women’s soccer team reluctant to sing the national anthem. Do you know what I think this babe may be angling for? Kaepernick. She wants a Kaepernick deal with Nike. Damn straight. She’s angling for a Kaepernick. She’s showing Nike she can be just as anti-American as Kaepernick. Give me a chance. Let me do the LGBTQ angle of Kaepernick,” Limbaugh continued.
Limbaugh concluded that Rapinoe was really after the fame and riches that Kaepernick now enjoys.
“I don’t think they would pay her the same. Well, I say that. Who would ever know? We don’t know what they’re paying Kaepernick. We would only know if they pay her the same as Kaepernick if we find out what they’re paying Kaepernick. But she would demand to be paid the same as Kaepernick. But then she would have to perform like Kaepernick. They’d have to design a set of soccer shoes that had the American flag on it, she’d have to say, “Nope, not wearing ’em. Don’t sell ’em,” and they would say, “OK. We won’t.” Or whatever. Anyway, here’s how she answered the question,” Limbaugh concluded.
