The Democrats’ attempted coup to remove Donald Trump from office is destined for a fight in front of the Supreme Court.
That means the Supreme Court Justices could decide Donald Trump’s fate.
And Ruth Bader Ginsburg let the cat out of the bag on her vote in an impeachment case.
Far-left Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg appeared at an event at Amherst College where she took questions from college president Carolyn “Biddy” Martin.
Martin asked Ginsburg what historians would make of the Trump era in American politics.
“An aberration,” Ginsburg shot back.
That wasn’t the only anti-Trump broadside Ginsburg launched.
Martin asked Ginsburg about the rise of supposedly “extreme” political movements all over the world.
This was liberal code for expressing fear over the strengthening anti-establishment political movements that elected leaders like Donald Trump and power “Brexit.”
Ginsburg replied that the Bald Eagle symbol for America reminded her of a pendulum.
“If it goes too far to the right, it will swing back,” Ginsburg told the audience. “I’m hoping to see it swing back in my lifetime.”
Ginsburg’s remarks came after Nancy Pelosi opened up a fake impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
The President’s legal team responded by declaring that they would not cooperate with an impeachment inquiry in name only.
If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats wanted the White House to cooperate and turn over documents and make administration officials available for testimony, they would have to hold a vote to officially open an impeachment inquiry.
Pelosi wants to avoid that vote at all costs to protect vulnerable incumbents in Trump districts and to block the Republicans’ ability to introduce evidence as well as subpoena documents and witness testimony.
At a White House event highlighting the Trump administration’s success in rolling back Barack Obama’s job-killing and economy-strangling regulations, the President took on the Democrats’ coup head on.
Trump said this decision “probably ends up being a big Supreme Court case.”
The President explained why this defiance was necessary.
“It’s the most unfair situation people have seen,” and President Trump told the assembled press the Democrats “have eviscerated the rules.”
When Ginsburg addressed the crowd at Amherst, she clearly knew the impeachment fight would end up in front of the Supreme Court.
Ginsburg’s anti-Trump rant and desire to see him out of office demonstrated that Ginsburg could not fairly judge any case that could decide if the President is convicted on articles of impeachment.
This is not the first time Ginsburg proved she could not act as a fair and impartial justice in cases involving the President.
In July 2016, Ginsburg said if Trump won the election she would contemplate moving to New Zealand.
“I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president,” Ginsburg continued. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”
