There’s nothing Rush Limbaugh loves more than destroying liberals.
That’s exactly what he’s doing to Adam Schiff as he tries to impeach President Trump.
And Schiff will cry himself to sleep after Limbaugh mocked him with one fact.
The entire mainstream media wants you to believe that Schiff will succeed in his scheme to impeach President Trump.
To do that, they are only presenting claims that fit that narrative.
That’s why Fox News brought Ken Starr on to discuss impeachment.
Starr is best known as the independent counsel whose 1998 investigation led to the impeachment of Bill Clinton.
But today he is the go-to voice to parrot anti-Trump narratives on impeachment.
He did just that on Fox News following the testimony of U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland.
Starr claims that Republican Senators are now going to begin demanding Trump’s resignation, stating that it’s “all over” for Trump and that the testimony is a “game changer.”
“The real issue is the senators are watching,” Starr said. “Are senators going to now say in light of what we hear today, it’s going to be a long day even with the ambassador alone, in light of what we have heard, ‘We need to make a trip down to the White House?’”
He then goes on to bring up Watergate, where Republican Senators demanded Nixon’s resignation.
Rush Limbaugh brought this up on his massively popular radio show.
He began by mentioning how Schiff called for a break during Sondland’s testimony, before he could face any questions from Republicans.
The reason for that break was for Schiff to have a chance to talk to reporters before Republicans could have a chance to question Sondland, so he could have his narrative on his side.
It was during that point where Starr made his claim.
If he had waited, Republicans were able to slam Sondland, even getting him to admit that Trump didn’t ever want any sort of “quid pro quo” with Ukraine.
Limbaugh points out how this was done intentionally, to force “Watergate on the brain,” so people see this as a “replay of Watergate.”
The legendary radio host then added that Starr’s claims occurred “before the start of the hearing,” as Sondland was only able to give his opening remarks.
So this is what Adam Schiff has to take down Trump.
He is forcing the media narrative around his testimony before Sondland can face any Republican questions.
In the full testimony Sondland directly contradicts any claims of a quid pro quo, admitting that Trump said that “I want no quid pro quo, tell Zelensky [Ukraine’s president] to do the right thing.”
This is how unfair Schiff’s inquiry is.
Democrats make the rules, and get to decide who gets to testify.
No matter what Schiff tries to claim, his impeachment inquiry is nothing more than a coup attempt against President Trump.
Do you think Adam Schiff’s inquiry should be shut down?
