Donald Trump could be in for the fight of his life.
Democrats and the fake news media are gearing up for a battle within the Supreme Court that could shape America for generations.
That’s because this Supreme Court Justice’s recent health scare could lead to a shocking retirement.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg is still recovering from surgery that removed cancerous tumors from her lungs.
Doctors found the tumors when they had treated Ginsburg for broken ribs after falling in September.
Ginsburg returned to the court, and liberals from Barack Obama on down breathed a massive sigh of relief.
However, the left is panicking once again.
For the first time ever, Ginsburg stayed home and missed oral arguments to the Supreme Court.
Chief Justice John Roberts said that she could still participate in deciding cases “on the basis of the briefs and transcripts of oral arguments.”
Ginsburg is the leader of the court’s liberal bloc.
She is not so much a justice as she is a political enforcer of liberal dogma.
Ginsburg – as well as the other three liberal justices – never part from left-wing orthodoxy.
They vote as a four judge alliance and get their way anytime a Republican-leaning judge caves into media and the swamp’s pressure to “moderate” their views.
Ginsburg has also come to represent a pop culture deity for the left as well.
Last year, a documentary called ‘The Notorious R.B.G.’ hit theaters.
This year, the Hollywood biopic ‘On the Basis of Sex’ will lionize her as a feminist icon.
If health issues were to eventually force Ginsburg to step down, the left will face a judicial apocalypse.
Republicans expanded their Senate majority in the November elections.
They now hold 53 seats as opposed to 51.
That’s important because Maine’s Susan Collins and Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski are pro-abortion RINOs.
In the last Congress, Collins and Murkowski’s voting “no” could have sunk a pro-life Supreme Court nominee.
Now their votes don’t matter.
President Trump pledged to only appoint Justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade.
But with only five Republican appointees on the court, many conservatives believe John Roberts would vote against overturning Roe v Wade to spare himself a flogging from the liberal media and D.C. elites.
Should Ginsburg have to retire, replacing her seat with a sixth conservative, pro-life Supreme Court justice would take the pressure off Roberts, because a 6 to 3 conservative majority means no one has to stand out as the “fifth vote” to overturn Roe v. Wade.
President Trump replacing Ginsburg with a strong conservative would also cement a GOP majority for generations.
Democrats would need to replace two conservative nominees and the oldest Supreme Court justice on the court is Clarence Thomas at 70-years-old.
An equally conservative, but younger replacement would put a Democratic Supreme Court majority out of reach for generations.
Americans will watch Ginsburg’s situation closely.
President Trump predicted he could nominate three or four Supreme Court justices during his first term.
That would lead to a conservative legacy in the American way of life for the next 30 to 40 years.
