Joe Biden’s experiencing one humiliating defeat after another.
Now Biden is a lawless president.
And that became official when the Supreme Court slammed Joe Biden with some bad news about an illegal act.
Back in June, Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the court’s three liberals to leave an eviction moratorium in place.
Justice Kavanaugh wrote he only voted to do so because the moratorium expired on July 31 leaving Congress time to pass a new bailout bill.
Congress failed to do so as Nancy Pelosi could not even line up 218 Democrat votes in the House of Representatives.
Under pressure from socialists like Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush, Joe Biden announced a new scheme that he even admitted was likely unconstitutional that amounted to destroying private property rights in America by having the Centers for Disease Control essentially turn all rental properties into public housing through October 3.
The Alabama Association of Realtors quickly sued and the Supreme Court struck with lightning speed to smackdown Biden’s illegal attempt to destroy private property rights in America.
On the day that Joe Biden’s poorly planned and executed Afghanistan withdrawal led to ISIS terrorists murdering 13 American soldiers, the Supreme Court rebuked Biden by halting the eviction moratorium.
In the ruling, the justices slammed Biden and the Centers for Disease Control for stretching the meaning of a decades-old Public Service Health Act to assume near dictatorial power in America, including seizing the authority to render the ability of landlords to enforce contracts null and void.
The court ruled – in a stinging opinion – that it “strained credulity” to think this law allowed the Centers for Disease Control to run roughshod over private property rights.
“Careful review of that record makes clear that the applicants are virtually certain to succeed on the merits of their argument that the CDC has exceeded its authority. It would be one thing if Congress had specifically authorized the action that the CDC has taken. But that has not happened. Instead, the CDC has imposed a nationwide moratorium on evictions in reliance on a decades-old statute that authorizes it to implement measures like fumigation and pest extermination. It strains credulity to believe that this statute grants the CDC the sweeping authority that it asserts,” the justices held.
The majority further argued that the moratorium damaged potential tenants by depriving them of housing opportunities as landlords could not evict delinquent tenants, and it also deprived landlords of income with no guarantee they will be made whole later on.
“The equities do not justify depriving the applicants of the District Court’s judgment in their favor,” the ruling continued. “The moratorium has put the applicants, along with millions of landlords across the country, at risk of irreparable harm by depriving them of rent payments with no guarantee of eventual recovery.”
Joe Biden campaigned for president promising to restore norms.
Instead, Biden imposed an order Biden admitted at the time was likely illegal, but was meant to run out the clock on the judicial challenges and keep derelict renters in their homes while destroying private housing in America.
Biden operated as a rogue and lawless chief executive.
And the Supreme Court was not amused.
