Word leaked out that left-wing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer intended to retire when the court wrapped up its current term this summer.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is retiring, Fox News confirmed, setting President Biden up with the first opportunity to fill a vacancy on the high court.
A source close to Breyer told Fox News that the justice will step down at the end of the current Supreme Court term early this summer.
For four years liberals seethed over the fact that Donald Trump not only appointed three Supreme Court justices, but that two of his selections shifted the court to the right.
Brett Kavanaugh is more conservative than the justice he replaced, Anthony Kennedy.
Kennedy authored the wrongly decided opinion imposing homosexual marriage on all 50 states.
And Amy Coney Barrett replaced leftist icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg in 2020 pushing the court to a six to three Republican-appointee majority.
As soon as the news of Justice Breyer’s retirement broke the talk immediately turned to who Biden would select as Breyer’s replacement.
For the last 12 months liberal began demanding the 83-year-old Breyer retire while Democrats still controlled the Senate and Chuck Schumer could ram Breyer’s successor through the Senate.
Democrats worried that any Democrat senator resigning or stepping down for any reason would shift the 50/50 to Republican control.
In a 51/49 Republican Senate Mitch McConnell would likely block any Biden Supreme Court nominee.
Conservatives ripped Democrats for pushing Breyer into retirement.
“The Left bullied Justice Breyer into retirement and now it will demand a justice who rubber stamps its liberal political agenda,” Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino posted on social media. “And that’s what the Democrats will give them, because they’re beholden to the dark money supporters who helped elect them.”
Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that race and gender would be the sole criteria Biden would use as Biden intended to keep his campaign promise and select a black woman.

The leading candidate is Washington D.C. Circuit Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who Biden appointed last year.
Chuck Schumer’s pledged to confirm Biden’s pick before the State of the Union speech by March 1.
Now all the pressure will rest on Democrat Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin to pushback on an extreme leftist nominee.
