The political environment is turning against the Democrats.
One of the biggest names on the left is under fire.
And this major sexual harassment scandal is about to rip the Democrat Party apart.
Former aide Lindsey Boylan came forward with allegations of sexual harassment against New York’s Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Boylan worked for Cuomo from 2015 to 2018 as his deputy secretary for economic development and as a special adviser.
“Many saw it, and watched. I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation,” Boylan wrote on social media, adding that Governor Cuomo also sexually harassed other women.
New York Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik blasted Cuomo and called for an independent investigation into Boylan’s allegations.
“I am publicly calling for an independent investigation into the serious allegations of pervasive workplace sexual harassment & verbal abuse by Governor Andrew Cuomo. The people of New York deserve a Governor who lives up to his own public statements on sexual harassment,” Stefanik wrote.
Stefanik ripped Cuomo as a hypocrite quoting Cuomo’s support for the “Me Too” movement writing on social media:
“The brave women who chose to come forward deserve swift and definitive justice in this matter.”
“There can be no suggestion of any possibility of the reality or appearance of any conflict or anything less than a full, complete, and unbiased investigation.”
“I have tremendous accolades for the women who came forward. That is the essence of the #MeToo moment and the #MeToo movement.”
“Change comes when people demand change, and change comes when the problem is revealed and exposed. That is always Step 1, and what you’re seeing now is women standing up all across the country and saying this nation has a chronic, disturbing, and disgusting behavior of sexual harassment against women, and it’s gone on for a long, long time and it has to stop.”
“News of the alleged improprieties are grossly disturbing and must be fully investigated.”
Governor Cuomo denied all wrongdoing.
And the fake news media either refused to cover Boylan’s allegations or tried to discredit her.
It did not surprise conservatives to see how the so-called “mainstream” media abandoned the principle of “believe all women.”
Boylan’s allegations surfaced as reports surfaced that Joe Biden was considering Governor Cuomo as a candidate to serve as Attorney General if Biden is sworn in as President on January 20.
The coverage stood in stark comparison to how the media blew up Christine Blasey Ford’s clearly false allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.
But because Andrew Cuomo is “on the same team,” the fake news media will try to protect him from this growing scandal.
