Joe Biden hoped it would be smooth sailing for his nominee to the Supreme Court.
But Joe Biden got some bad news.
And this smoking gun just caused a giant problem for Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz pressed Ketanji Brown Jackson to explain her role on the board of directors of the hyper-woke Georgetown Day School with regards to the school indoctrinating children with critical race theory.
“Is critical race theory taught in schools? Is it taught in Kindergarten through twelfth [grade]?” Senator Cruz asked Jackson.
Jackson denied the school taught critical race theory and tried to pretend like she barely knew what the racist philosophy was.
“I don’t know. I don’t think so,” Jackson answered. “I believe it’s an academic theory that is at the law school level.”
When Senator Cruz presented evidence that Georgetown Day School taught critical race theory Jackson then claimed that her role in the board of directors did not tie into approving school curriculum.
Jackson testified that the board of directors “does not control the curriculum” and that the board “is not focused on that.”
That appears not to be true.
Ketanji Brown Jackson signed an enrollment contract for parents to sign that lays out the school’s vision as fighting against systemic racism and teaching anti-racism — both of which are core tenants of critical race theory.
“Parents acknowledge and understand that GDS is an institution that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and that has made a commitment to work actively against individual and systemic racism, hatred, oppression, and bigotry of any kind. By signing this document, parents and students agree to join in the school’s commitment and to engage in actions and efforts in furtherance of these values and commitments within the GDS community,” the Georgetown Day School enrollment contract reads.
The contract also provides links for parents to find resources on the dominant themes of critical race theory.

Critics suspect Ketanji Brown Jackson sought to conceal her true level of involvement in teaching critical race theory at Georgetown Day School because of how politically radioactive the Marxist ideology now is.
Jackson is likely to win confirmation no matter what.
But if Jackson is seen as the avatar of critical race theory in schools Democrat senators that vote for her confirmation could pay the price this November.
And that likely explains Jackson’s evasive answers during her confirmation hearings.
