Robert Mueller is grasping at straws in his investigation to take down President Trump.
He hasn’t revealed anything that proves Russia collusion.
And things just got a lot worse after a top attorney said the one thing Mueller fears above all.
Robert Mueller has the full backing of the Deep State.
Their number one goal is taking down President Trump.
So like flies to honey, the Deep State sees Mueller as their best ally in their unified goal.
The scope of Mueller’s investigation is to prove that Russia collusion occurred during the 2016 election to elect President Trump.
Despite having two years uninterrupted, he hasn’t revealed a single sliver of evidence of collusion.
So he is instead attacking figures close to Trump with charges completely unrelated to the scope of his investigation.
Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort are already facing harsh convictions for charges unrelated to Trump.
And Roger Stone is facing a number of serious charges that could land him in jail for the rest of his life.
These moves seem like the desperate acts of a man looking to prove he is doing something.
But despite receiving praise in the media, many high-level figures see through his façade.
Among them is John Dowd, a veteran criminal defense attorney.
He is most known for heading President Trump’s legal team during a critical stretch of Mueller’s investigation.
Dowd believes, like many Americans, that Mueller has nothing on Trump and is calling his investigation “a terrible waste of time.”
He also believes that there won’t even be a report from Mueller when everything is said and done.
“I don’t think there’ll be a report,” Dowd told ABC News. “I will be shocked if anything regarding the president is made public, other than ‘We’re done.’”
Dowd is likely correct.
But even if there is a report, many supporters of Mueller don’t actually understand how that works.
A Special Counsel report doesn’t go to the public or even to Congress.
It instead goes to the Attorney General, who in turn writes a report if anything criminal is found.
Democrats are expecting Mueller to release a massive tell-all that the media will use for years on end to dismantle Trump’s Presidency as illegitimate and destroy the lives of everyone close to him.
But that is simply a pipe-dream with no basis in reality.
In the meantime, Trump is continuing to push forward in his agenda with job-creating policies and trade deals that are putting Americans to work.
The unemployment rate reaching historic lows is proof of this.
He is also working to secure the border, something Democrats hate more than anything.
There seems to be nothing that can slow Trump down, and that’s why they’re relying on Mueller to deliver the Hail Mary they desperately need.
