The continual drip of revelations about Barack Obama’s “Spygate” scandal continues to leak out.
Former Congressman Trey Gowdy was at the tip of the spear in the fight to make sure the American people learned the full truth about the Obama administration and FBI colluding to spy on the Trump campaign in 2016.
And Trey Gowdy just went on Fox News and stunned viewers into silence with this revelation.
There are many mysteries surrounding the FBI and the Obama administration’s domestic spying efforts against the Trump campaign.
Many Americans wondered what the FBI learned from their use of wiretaps and undercover spies.
That information exists.
And Trey Gowdy just pulled back the curtain a bit during an appearance on Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Futures show on Fox News.
The former South Carolina Congressman hinted there were transcripts of what Stefan Halper and “Anza Turk” told the FBI they had learned after being dispatched to London to spy on Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos.
Papadopoulos told Australian diplomat Alexander Downer that he heard from Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud – who appears to be an agent connected to a Western intelligence service – that the Russians had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.
The FBI falsely claimed Papadopoulos told Downer the Russians had Hillary Clinton emails and ordered their spies to gather intelligence from Papadopoulos.
But the mission did not go as planned.
And Gowdy said the FBI transcripts of their meetings with Papadopoulos actually provided evidence that proved the Trump campaign’s innocence.
“If the bureau’s going to send in an informant in, the informant’s going to be wired, and if the bureau is monitoring telephone calls, there’s going to be a transcript of that,” Gowdy stated.
“Some of us have been fortunate enough to know whether or not those transcripts exist. But they haven’t been made public, and I think one in particular is going — it has the potential to actually persuade people. Very little in this Russia probe I’m afraid is going to persuade people who hate Trump or love Trump. But there is some information in these transcripts that has the potential to be a game-changer if it’s ever made public,” the former South Carolina Congressman continued.
Gowdy also hinted that the FBI under James Comey’s watch broke the law and there could be serious consequences for these misdeeds.
“If you have exculpatory information and you don’t share it with the court, that ain’t good. I’ve seen it, Johnny has seen it. I’d love for your viewers to see it,” Gowdy concluded.
Now that the Mueller investigation is over, Trump supporters expect the President to begin declassifying the documents from the Russian investigation.
That—combined with the three current investigations into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax—should finally provide the American people closure on this failed coup attempt.
