Donald Trump and his administration are directing a “whole of America” approach to stopping the spread of the Chinese coronavirus.
The President declared himself on a war footing to tackle this outbreak.
And Donald Trump said two words about the coronavirus that had all hell breaking loose.
The fake news media is trying to whip up another fake scandal to turn the American people against the President by focusing their coverage on Trump accurately calling the outbreak the “Chinese virus.”
In three tweets on Wednesday, the President used the phrase “Chinese virus” to convey the most accurate information to the American people about where this infection originated.
The President wrote:
“I always treated the Chinese Virus very seriously, and have done a very good job from the beginning, including my very early decision to close the ‘orders’ from China – against the wishes of almost all. Many lives were saved. The Fake News new narrative is disgraceful & false!” the President tweeted.
“I will be having a news conference today to discuss very important news from the FDA concerning the Chinese Virus!”
“For the people that are now out of work because of the important and necessary containment policies, for instance the shutting down of hotels, bars and restaurants, money will soon be coming to you. The onslaught of the Chinese Virus is not your fault! Will be stronger than ever!”
At the President’s daily Chinese coronavirus briefing, reporters showed up and picked another fight with the President.
Instead of fake news “reporters” asking real questions about the nature of the virus or trying to extract useful information about the government’s response to better inform the American people, these so-called “journalists” instead shouted at the President and repeated Chinese Communist Party propaganda by calling him a racist.
The President also explained he began using the phrase “Chinese virus” to describe the virus because Chinese government officials began spreading conspiracy theories and misinformation about the United States military creating the virus and spreading it to frame China.
President Trump was not about to sit idly by while a hostile foreign power smeared the United States military and instead fought back with the truth.
For the last three years, the fake news media loudly and regularly shouts about the dangers of so-called Russian “fake news” and “misinformation” campaigns on social media that supposedly won the election for Donald Trump.
So-called “journalists” campaigning to stamp out “fake news” and “misinformation” on social media was really about censoring conservative speech to hurt Donald Trump’s chances for re-election.
But in this case, these alleged “journalists” are happily amplifying conspiracy theories and misinformation from a hostile foreign power because it bolsters their anti-Trump narrative.
The fake news media loves conspiracy theories and misinformation on social media as long as it aligns with their political objectives.
