It was a bad day for two of the most radical Democrats in the Senate.
They quickly realized they were in trouble.
That’s all due to the fact Tucker Carlson caught two Democrat senators red-handed in this illegal act.
Duckworth was the first to announce she would blockade Biden’s appointees until Biden began nominating more Asians to his administration.
Carlson pointed out that a sitting United States senator actually declared that they would decide nominations on the basis of race.
“Tammy Duckworth of [Illinois] and Mazie Hirono of Hawaii publicly informed the White House that until the Biden administration puts more people they like in powerful jobs, they will refuse to confirm any white nominees. Quote, ‘I’m a no vote on the floor on all non-diversity nominees,’ Duckworth said, out loud with cameras rolling. ‘I will vote for racial minorities and I will vote for LGBTQ, but anybody else I’m not voting for,’” Carlson declared.
Carlson then played a clip of the far-left Hirono telling MSNBC that she intended to back up Duckworth in blocking Biden from filling out his government until the proper racial quota was achieved.
“Tammy’s position is that until she gets a commitment from the White House that there will be more diversity representation in the Cabinet and senior White House advisory positions, she will not vote to confirm anyone who does not represent diversity,” Senator Hirono announced.
Carlson was dumbfounded and proceeded to explain how Duckworth and Hirono violated the 1964 Civil Rights Act by openly declaring they would only evaluate nominees for federal government positions on the basis of their race.
“Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act opens this way, quote: ‘No person in the United States shall on the grounds of race, color or national origin be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.’ End quote,” Carlson added.
Carlson argued this should be the biggest scandal in America.
If a United States senator said out loud that they would vote against confirmation for any nominee until the president selected more white nominees, that senator’s career would not last two minutes longer.
But in the corporate media, Hirono and Duckworth were treated like icons.
Even after Hirono and Duckworth beat a hasty retreat, the tone of the coverage did not change.
Hirono and Duckworth did not fold on their blockade because they realized they made a massive mistake.
Instead Hirono and Duckworth tapped out after Joe Biden threw them a bone in the form of a liaison.
