Democrats were enraged when President Trump criticized Joe Biden on his recent trip to Japan, claiming it was unbecoming for a President to criticize political rivals on foreign soil.
There used to be a time when American politicians would present a unified front on foreign soil, regardless of political views or affiliations.
However, it seems only the Democrats are allowed the freedom to criticize their opponents.
Obama continuously attacked conservatives and Republicans throughout his Presidency both on and off American soil, and the media was happy to cling to every word as if it contained perfect wisdom.
Now there is video evidence to confirm that Obama’s criticisms made abroad was not an isolated incident.
In 2015, during a trip to the Philippines, Obama said that Republican rhetoric helped fuel ISIS.
While in London, Obama attacked Republicans in North Carolina and Mississippi for passing laws banning same-sex bathrooms.
In 2016, after Trump won the election, Obama urged from Berlin that protesters against Trump to not be silent.
But while attacks against conservatives were deemed perfectly legitimate from a sitting President on foreign soil, it is unthinkable for any Republican to criticize any Democrat while abroad or otherwise.
Of course, the media is trying to spin the narrative that the breakdown of civilized political discourse on foreign soil is all the Republicans fault.
However, if the media truly wanted to bring back a more peaceful discourse in American politics, then they would report unbiasedly on Republicans and Democrats alike.
