The Democratic Party is losing its mind.
Yet another rising star in the Democrat Party just saw their career cut short.
And it’s all because of one explosive video.
For all their talk about tolerance, diversity, and “love trumps hate,” the Democratic Party is increasingly intolerant of any views that do not match up with the party’s position.
Following the election of Donald Trump in 2016, the Democrats went even further off the deep end.
And that trend has only accelerated over the past two years.
Now, a rising star within the Democratic Party just saw his career collapse right before his very eyes after an explosive video covered one insane move.
The Daily Caller has the story, “Democratic Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims, who went viral for recording himself accosting pro-lifers praying outside a Planned Parenthood clinic, sparked backlash after posting a video addressing the controversy in which he again attacked pro-lifers.”
“Sims revealed in a video he posted Tuesday to Twitter that he has ‘spent the last seven years serving as a volunteer patient escort’ at the clinic, and claimed he’s ‘seen firsthand the insults, the slurs the attacks and the racism those protesters direct at mostly young girls going there for clinic care.’”
Of course, Sims didn’t bother to provide any proof to back up his claims that the abortion center has been targeted for harassment, much less racist or sexist driven attacks like he claimed in his video.
But the real controversy came about from Sims’ own harassment directed at pro-life activists who were praying outside the clinic.
“The state representative first went viral for posting a video of himself accosting an elderly woman praying outside the clinic. Additional video showed Sims had previously offered a $100 reward to anyone who could identify three teen girls Sims accosted while they prayed outside,” adds the Daily Caller.
In a video posted by Sims this week, he instead took the opportunity to double-down on his attack and apologize. The only regret he had was that he didn’t attack the pro-life women in a more effective way.

“What I should have shown you in that video was protesters gathered together to pray at, not to silently pray for, people coming out of Planned Parenthood as they intercepted them and harassed them,” Sims said.
Sims was promptly eviscerated on social media after posting the video, which has received over 37,000 comments and just 1,000 retweets since he posted it on Tuesday.
A ratio of comments to likes as lopsided as that is usually a sign of how disliked someone’s post is on a platform like Twitter.
And the top comments to Sims’ video shows just how much the move backfired on him.
“Nice non-apology fella. Trying to dox those folks so they could be harassed is beneath the dignity of a representative. It should be beneath the dignity of everyone for that matter. Bad form,” read one tweet to Sims.
“Dear @BrianSimsPA: I was thinking that we could gather a posse to go and find some puppies to kick. Then we can find some elderly people in a retirement home and abuse them. Then we can find some daycares where we might heckle & insult the children,” read another sarcastic tweet directed at Sims.
