Barack Obama did not see this coming.
He figured his Deep State would get away with trying to destroy Donald Trump.
But one whistleblower stepped forward with the smoking gun that will turn Obama’s life upside down.
Barack Obama’s Deep State Plot
Republicans keep digging up new details about the Deep State’s plot to spy on Donald Trump.
This goes all the way back to 2016 when the FBI sent at least one spy after the Trump campaign.
The FBI claimed it was because they had information that Trump had colluded with the Russians.
They got that from an Australian diplomat named Alexander Downer.
Downer was connected to the Clinton Foundation.
He met Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos for drinks in London.
Downer claims Papadopoulos told him the Russians had Hillary Clinton’s emails.
Downer then reported this to the FBI.
The FBI then opened the probe into possible Trump-Russia collusion.
Papadopoulos told the FBI he learned that he learned that information from a professor named Joseph Mifsud.
Mifsud met with Papadopoulos and told him he could help arrange a meeting between Trump and Vladimir Putin.
Papadopoulos thought a photo-op with Putin would help Trump’s campaign.
During the meeting, Mifsud told Papadopoulos that the Russians had “dirt” on Hillary.
Papadopoulos says Mifsud never offered him the emails.
And Mifsud never told Papadopoulos how the Trump campaign could get them.
But Papadopoulos lied to the FBI about when this meeting took place.
He told them it was before he went to work for Trump.
However, it took place after he joined the campaign.
The Whistleblower Emerges
Papadopoulos denied any allegations of collusion.
As time went on, Americans learned more about Papadopoulos and his strange meetings.
After Downer reported Papadopoulos to the FBI, they sent a spy to talk with him.
Stefan Halper met Papadopoulos in London and tried to get him to admit knowing about the Russians hacking Democrat emails.
Papadopoulos said he did not know anything about it.
After Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, a judge sentenced him to two weeks in jail.
Papadopoulos Speaks
Since he was free to talk about his case, Papadopoulos raised the possibility that more than one Deep State spy approached him.
Papadopoulos tweeted:
Hons: @SenatorBurr and @MarkWarner if my lawyers are fine with me testifying, I am more than happy to discuss my suspicious encounters with Alexander Downer; US officials who were reaching out to me around that time, Stefan Halper, “Putin’s niece” and of course Joseph Mifsud.
Hons: @SenatorBurr and @MarkWarner if I do testify, I think it’s also important for me to detail my interactions with US intelligence officials from US Embassy, London. Gregory Baker and Terrence Dudley. Both wanted to ingratiate themselves in campaign via myself.

Trump supporters believe Papadopoulos was set-up.
Deep State officials hovered around him.
Papadopoulos believes the evidence shows that the entire affair – from his meetings with Mifsud and Downer – were all part of the same Deep State spying operation as Halper.
If this is true, it would blow the lid off Obama’s worst scandal.
Papadopoulos is also willing to testify under oath about this.
That means if he lies, he will go to jail again.
Trump supporters take that to mean he is telling the truth about the Obama spies who flocked to meet him in 2016.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
