Barack Obama just got smacked with some extremely bad news.
Attorney General William Barr is digging into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
And William Barr asked one question that left Barack Obama trembling in fear.
One of the biggest mysteries of the Russian collusion hoax is how the shady Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud came into contact with Trump campaign foreign policy aide George Papadopoulos.
Mifsud supposedly told Papadopoulos that the Russians had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.
Papadopoulos then relayed this information to Clinton Foundation supporter – and Australian diplomat – Alexander Downer at a bar in London in May 2016.
When WikiLeaks began releasing hacked emails obtained from the Democrat National Committee in July, the Australian government alerted the FBI of what Papadopoulos told Downer.
Peter Strzok, James Comey and Andrew McCabe then launched “Operation Crossfire Hurricane.”
This is the FBI’s “official story” of how the Russia investigation originated.
But there are a lot of holes in this account.
Firstly, who is Joseph Mifsud?
Robert Mueller claims Mifsud has links to Russian intelligence.
However, no one has presented any evidence that was the case.
In fact, one of Mifsud’s career postings was at the London School of Diplomacy where he taught diplomats, police officers, and intelligence agents.
One of Mifsud’s closest associates – lawyer Stephan Roh – claimed that Mifsud was actually tied to a Western intelligence service.
Many observers of this case believe that to be Italy.
Attorney General Barr and United States Attorney John Durham – the two men heading up the investigation into the origin of the Russian collusion hoax – believe it as well.
Barr recently traveled to Italy to speak with officials from that nation’s government and intelligence service in order to derive the truth about Mifsud’s affiliation.
Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte confirmed that Barr traveled to Italy to inquire about Mifsud’s connection to that government’s intelligence service.
“If we had refused to sit at a table, we would have created damage for our intelligence activity, besides creating a serious breach of loyalty with an historic ally,” Conte explained to the press.
This revelation comes on the heels of major developments in Durham’s investigation.
First, Durham’s probe grew to cover the period after Donald Trump’s inauguration up until the President fired James Comey in May 2017.
Second, Durham’s probe is now a criminal investigation.
That allows Durham to subpoena witnesses and documents, impanel a grand jury and bring charges.
Fox News reported that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report is due out very soon and something that Horowitz reported led to Durham turning his investigation from an administrative review into a criminal probe.
That is bad news for Barack Obama and his Deep State allies.
Before they could laugh on the Durham probe as just resulting in another report that their allies in the fake and corrupt news media could bury after a one or two day news cycle.
But now there could be high profile charges and criminal trial of well-known Obama allies that could stay in the headlines for months.
