Democrats worked to take out Attorney General William Barr ever since Barr began investigating how Barack Obama and his allies cooked up the Russian collusion hoax.
After months of scheming, liberals devised their plan of attack to destroy the Attorney General.
And William Barr faced this one threat that could end his career.
Matthew Shepard was a homosexual teenager murdered in the late 1990s.
Police claimed his murderers targeted Shepard for his homosexuality.
Shepard’s death became the driving force behind the left’s effort to pass thought control legislation to criminalize any opposition to the radical homosexual political agenda.
That drive finally succeeded when Barack Obama signed the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act into law back in October 2009.
The Justice Department recently held a ten year anniversary ceremony to commemorate the act’s passage.
Judy and Dennis Shepard – Matthew’s parents – could not attend but prepared a statement to be read during the affair.
Former FBI agent Cynthia Deitle, who now serves as the programs and operations director of the Matthew Shepard Foundation, read this statement during the affair.
“Mr. Barr, you cannot have it both ways,” the statement read. “Either you believe in equality for all or you don’t. We do not honor our son by kowtowing to hypocrisy.”
Shepard’s parents blasted Barr, claiming the Attorney General “must lead and demonstrate his refusal to accept hate in all its manifestations,” the statement continued, “He must demonstrate courage, even if it means disagreeing with the administration. So far, he has done none of these deeds.”
The Shepards’ blistering attack on Barr came days after Barr forcefully defended religious liberty during a speech at Notre Dame from attacks by secularists determined to impose a radical social agenda and erase America’s Judeo-Christian heritage.
“Secularists and their allies among the ‘progressives’ have marshaled all the force of mass communications, popular culture, the entertainment industry and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values,” Barr stated.
The Shepards’ statement also took Barr to task for the administration arguing against special rights for homosexuals and so-called “transgenders” during a recent Supreme Court case.
Department of Justice employees at the event broke out into wild applause at the Shepards’ attack on Barr.
It was a stunning act of rebellion by bureaucrats against their boss.
And it also signaled that Barr is about to be the next target of a deep state leak campaign to smear his reputation and end his career.
Department of Justice career officials – i.e. Obama loyalists embedded within the Deep State – can be expected to begin savagely leaking to the press anything and everything they can spin in a negative fashion about Attorney General Barr.
As Barr and United States Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origin of the Russian collusion hoax nears its conclusion, seditious forces inside the government are moving to undermine the Attorney General in an attempt to discredit the investigation in case it turns up any possible crimes.
