Donald Trump is used to speaking before large crowds of cheering fans.
But something strange happened.
And a crowd booed Donald Trump for this reason that no one saw coming.
Donald Trump and Bill O’Reilly took their speaking tour to Texas.
Trump made major news when he admitted to Bill O’Reilly that he received a COVID vaccine booster shot.
You can see a video of Trump revealing that he received a booster shot at the bottom of this article.
Trump also created controversy by touting the vaccine that his administration’s Operation Warp Speed developed in record time.
“We did something that was historic. We saved tens of millions of lives worldwide — we together, all of us,” Trump told the crowd. “We got a vaccine done in less than nine months. It was supposed to take from five to 12 years. Because of that vaccine, millions and millions of people — I think this would have been like the Spanish flu of 1917 where up to 100 million people died. This was going to ravage the country far beyond what it is right now.”
Trump also claimed that if conservatives doubted the vaccine it would play into the left’s hand.
“Take credit for it. Take credit for it,” Trump continued. “You’re playing right into their hands [when you doubt the vaccine].”
In reality, it is liars like Dr. Fauci that created vaccine hesitancy by never telling the truth.
It was Fauci that falsely claimed the vaccine stopped transmission when the latest Omicron variant obviously proved that was untrue.
And Trump’s comments were a far cry from his statements over the summer where Trump slammed the idea of a booster shot program as a money-making scheme by Big Pharma to hook Americans into getting a shot every six months in order to line the pockets of the drug companies.
“That sounds to me like the moneymaking operation for Pfizer, okay?” Trump told Fox News Channel host Maria Bartiromo. “Think of the money involved. … The whole thing is just crazy. It doesn’t — you wouldn’t think you would need a booster. You know, when these first came out, they were good for life.”
In these comments, Trump sounded very much like a 2024 presidential candidate.
If Trump runs for office he would compare and contrast his record with that of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Trump would point to the development of three COVID vaccines as a major achievement.
Trump would also cite the fact that he left multiple vaccines behind and more Americans died from COVID in one year under Joe Biden than under Trump in 2020.
Still, Trump praising and promoting the vaccine will not sit well with a large portion of Trump’s base as Democrat politicians and public health tyrants used the vaccines to force Americans to submit to a pandemic police state by mandating the shots.
