The conflict between Donald Trump and the Democrats over restoring law and order is reaching a breaking point.
Battle lines have been drawn.
This Democrat gave the military an ultimatum that had all hell breaking loose.
Washington, D.C.’s incompetent buffoon of a Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser sat asleep at the switch as her city burned, looters emptied stores and terrorists tried to storm the White House.
Since Washington, D.C. is a federal territory, it is up to Donald Trump to activate the National Guard.
The President performed his duty to protect the residents of the District by calling over 1,500 Guardsmen from multiple states to restore law and order.
By the following night, the thugs and rioters thought better of challenging the Guard and the violence dissipated.
That upset Mayor Bowser.
The point of these riots was to damage Donald Trump’s re-election chances.
So one night when 200 Guardsmen from Utah returned to the Marriott Marquis where they were staying, they were shocked to find Mayor Bowser kicked them out of their hotel and threw them out on the street at three in the morning.
“Some National Guard responders were quartering in hotel accommodations which had preexisting contractual agreements with the District. Out of respect for existing agreements those facilities have with the city government, those service members have relocated. For further information, please contact city government,” a National Guard statement on the matter read.
Utah Senator Mike Lee blasted Mayor Bowser.
“Evicting Utah National Guard personnel from their hotels after a late-night shift risking their lives to protect Washington is a shameful, petty, discrediting decision by Mayor Bowser,” Lee’s statement read.
“Our Utah guardsmen are consummate professionals who are not complaining in the slightest. But their labor and sacrifice on behalf of Washingtonians deserves better than this embarrassing spectacle. If Mayor Bowser has a problem with President Trump she should take it up with him, not take it out on National Guard personnel in the middle of a dangerous deployment in her city,” Lee concluded.
Mayor Bowser defended her decision to insult the National Guard.
“I continue to be concerned that unidentified federal personnel patrolling the streets of Washington DC pose both safety and national security risks,” Mayor Bowser claimed.
Bowser claimed the Guard needed to leave Washington, D.C. because it was the presence of the Guard – and not the violent thugs and terrorists from Antifa and Black Lives Matter that actually did the rioting – that caused violence.
“Our police and incident command have clear channels of communication and roles, and it is important to note that these additional unidentified units are operating outside of established chains of command,” Bowser fumed. “This multiplicity of forces can breed dangerous confusion.”
