Mike Bloomberg is using his enormous personal wealth in order to get Biden this one swing state.
But he may be committing a felony.
A former Democratic candidate is risking jail time to help Joe Biden.
Mike Bloomberg is so rich with an estimated $58 billion that there are countries in the world with less money than his personal wealth.
He spent more than $550 million into trying to win the Democratic primary, yet he only won 45 delegates which means he spent more than $12.2 million per delegate.
Now the former New York mayor could be in trouble with the law for voter fraud.
The Florida courts made a ruling that ex-felons could vote, however, this wasn’t good enough for Democrats who want to make sure that everyone votes.
The ruling also said that felons had to complete their jail sentences and make full restitution to their victims and pay for all fines and fees attached to their crimes.
The left is trying to be outraged that criminals are forced to actually pay back to society before they get their civil rights restored.
Which is why Bloomberg is paying $16 million in court fines and fees to restore the voting rights of 32,000 black and Hispanic ex-cons.
Bloomberg’s scheme is racist and Bloomberg explained exactly why he chose to pay the court fees of these particular groups in a memo.
“We have identified a significant vote share that requires a nominal investment. The data shows that in Florida, Black voters are a unique universe unlike any other voting bloc, where the Democratic support rate tends to be 90%-95%,”the memo says.
A representative for Bloomberg said, “The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy and no American should be denied that right. Working together with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, we are determined to end disenfranchisement and the discrimination that has always driven it.”
Bloomberg is claiming that they aren’t targeting people of a particular party.
Florida’s attorney general is requesting that the FBI and state law enforcement probe Bloomberg.
Attorney General Ashley Moody wrote, “After preliminarily reviewing this limited public information and law, it appears further investigation is warranted. Accordingly, I request that your agencies further investigate this matter and take appropriate steps as merited.”
Rep. Matt Gaetz also remarked on Bloomberg’s activities in his home state in an appearance on Fox News.
“I believe there may be a criminal investigation already underway of the Bloomberg-connected activities in Florida,” Gaetz told Sean Hannity.
“[Under Florida law] it’s a third-degree felony for someone to either directly or indirectly provide something of value to impact whether or not someone votes. So the question is whether or not paying off someone’s fines and legal obligations counts as something of value, and it clearly does. If Michael Bloomberg was offering to pay off people’s credit card debts, you would obviously see the value in that.”
Cleary Bloomberg is paying off debts in order to get people to vote and it’s gotten him into legal trouble.
