No one thought it could get worse than the FBI spying on Donald Trump and trying tobring down his presidency with the Russian collusion hoax.
But the American people were left speechless.
And that’s because a key Republican caught the FBI hiding this evidence that will bring down antifa.
Deep State apologist and FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Intelligence Committee for the panel’s World Wide Threats Hearing.
During the hearing, Republicans pressed Director Wray for answers about the Bureau’s past scandals as well as Wray’s inexplicable comments.
The first thing Director Wray set out to do was clean up the mess he made last summer when he testified that antifa was just an idea at a time when the terrorist organization was laying siege to Portland and multiple other cities for weeks on end.
“There are certainly local and regional nodes, individuals who self-identify with Antifa and commit violent attacks, citing that as their motivation, and we have a number of predicate investigations into such individuals and Antifa is a real thing. It’s not a fiction,” Director Wray stated.
Ohio Republican Congressman Mike Turner was not about to let Director Wray weasel out that easily.
Turner demanded to know what the FBI knew about antifa’s funding and organizational structure.
Wray still tried to downplay antifa and claimed the group consisted of just regional cells with no national command hierarchy—despite the clear evidence of coordinated attacks staged across the country—but that Wray would not reveal what the FBI knew about antifa’s funding.
“Again we have seen individual instances and small regional nodes of people coming together to train in some cases,” Wray responded. “There’s not some big national structure responsible for the violence.” Wray also noted that “the financing issue is something we continue to investigate, but there’s nothing that I can share at this time with the committee on that.”
Congressman Turner was not happy with that answer and demanded to know how antifa could lay months-long sieges to American cities and not have an organized funding mechanism.
“They have obviously been deployed throughout the United States. We’ve seen them burning federal buildings, the self-professed members, claiming members of Antifa — do they or do they not have organized financial support?” Turner asked.
Wray wouldn’t bite, and Turner wanted to know how antifa could stage riots and burn buildings around the country without a national funding structure.
At that point Wray was forced to admit that antifa bore the hallmarks of an organized and well-funded terror cell.
“At the local level, in some cases, the regional level we have seen organized activity, people working together,” Wray conceded.
If a senator asked Wray about a right-wing group like the Proud Boys or the Oath Keepers, Wray would have cited chapter and verse about their organization and funding to build them up to a terrorist threat on par with something out of a James Bond movie.
But because the narrative in the media and on the left is there is no such thing as left-wing domestic terrorism, FBI Director Chris Wray brushed them off as some kind of localized street gang.
