Multi-platinum album recording star Kid Rock had something to get off his chest.
In an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show Kid Rock revealed his plans to save Beechwood Hall, a historic antebellum home outside of Nashville that liberals wanted to tear down.
Beechwood Hall was the former home of country music legend Hank Williams, but Kid Rock believed the new owners from California wanted to tear down the home for political reasons since it dated back to before the Civil War.
Rock explained that he was sick of seeing social justice warriors tear down American history.
“I think, like so many other people in this country, we’re sick of seeing history torn to the ground, whether it be in the form of monuments, statues and now something so important here in Nashville, like the former home of Hank Williams, Beechwood Hall,” Kid Rock began.
Kid Rock told Carlson that he could tell once Black Lives Matter began ripping down statues of Confederate officers following the death of George Floyd that the left would soon move on to targeting other historical figures.
“Where does this end? We kind of all knew that from the beginning, once this fiasco started, that it’s never going to end,” Kid Rock continued.
Kid Rock said many people agreed with him, but were afraid to speak out against the woke mob for fear of being canceled.
“A lot of people say it and they say it under their breath, but they’re scared to say it out loud, so once again I’ll be the guy,” Kid Rock added.
Kid Rock slammed residents of blue states like California fleeing the crumbling socialist dystopias they built and moving to red states like Tennessee and then voting for the same left-wing politicians and policies that destroyed their former homes.
“They come here leaving these woke policies from these cities for better schools, lower taxes, lower crime … We kind of tell them, leave your effin’ politics at the state from which you’re coming,” Kid Rock declared.
