Democrats are trying to make it look like President Trump doesn’t have a shot at re-election.
But the numbers aren’t as good as they’d like.
A new poll crushed the huge lie Barack Obama wants to make America believe.
The Democrats and the mainstream media have learned nothing from their defeat in 2016.
During the 2016 election, WikiLeaks released documentation that Democratic leadership was trying to push down Bernie Sanders in order to ensure Hillary Clinton got the nomination.
The media constantly reported the polls that reassured liberal voters that there was no chance that Trump would be able to actually win.
Liberals were stunned when Trump actually did win.
Rather than learning from the experience, the Democrat leadership are trying the same playbook once again.
Enthusiasm for Biden isn’t high with voters.
Even with Biden’s limited TV appearances, his increasing memory problems are becoming ever clearer.
Yet it looks like the Democrat leadership pulled strings to get him the nomination to make sure that Bernie Sanders wasn’t the nominee.
Now once again, the polls are decidedly against Trump.
Fox News noted, “An average of the latest national polls in the 2020 presidential race compiled by RealClearPolitics indicates Biden with an 8.1 point lead over Trump. More importantly, Biden enjoys single digit advantages over the president in an average of the most recent polls in many of the key battleground states where the general election will be won.”
Yet Rasmussen Reports found that Trump was trailing Biden by just three points.
Rasmussen reported, “The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds the likely Democratic presidential nominee earning 47% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Trump’s 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate. Four percent (4%) are undecided.”
That’s hardly the compelling lead that Democrats wish they had over Trump.
They would much rather take comfort in the Quinnipiac poll that was released on Wednesday which found that Biden had jumped to a 15-point lead over Trump.
Rasmussen Reports was one of the more accurate polls in 2016 when they predicted that Hillary Clinton would win the popular vote by 1.7%.
Hillary Clinton actually managed to win 2% of the popular vote but she still lost the election.
The Democrats can’t rely on hatred of Trump to win them the election, or the coronavirus outbreak.
There’s a significant probability that there will be a vaccine available for the coronavirus before the election and Biden will have to debate Trump at some point.
The polls aren’t going to help Democrats and insulting Trump will only get them so far.
If they want to win elections, they need to stop repeating the past.
