Joe Biden’s sex scandal is getting bigger by the day.
The mounting evidence against him is a terrible problem for his campaign.
A secretive phone call from the past made Joe Biden break into a cold sweat.
Tara Reade has gotten Joe Biden back in the news cycle, but for all the wrong reasons.
She alleges that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her when he was a Senator back in 1993.
Her claims wouldn’t be so damaging if it hadn’t been for the Democrats’ all-out war on Brett Kavanaugh.
Democrats claimed that Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations should be implicitly believed despite the fact that she couldn’t bring a shred of evidence to even show that she ever met Kavanaugh.
Tara Reade’s story has far more evidence to back it up.
A neighbor of Reade’s in the ‘90s, Lynda LaCasse, said that Reade told her about the alleged assault.
“I remember her saying, here was this person that she was working for and she idolized him,” LaCasse said. “And he kind of put her up against a wall. And he put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her. She felt like she was assaulted, and she really didn’t feel there was anything she could do.”
Reade also said that she told her mother about the assault. Her mother unfortunately died in 2016 and cannot verify her daughter’s word.
However, an old phone call to CNN’s “Larry King Live” shows that Tara Reade did talk to her mother.
“In interviews with The Intercept, Reade also mentioned that her mother had made a phone call to ‘Larry King Live’ on CNN, during which she made reference to her daughter’s experience on Capitol Hill,” The Intercept reported. “Reade told The Intercept that her mother called in asking for advice after Reade, then in her 20s, left Biden’s office.”
Transcript of the video:
LARRY KING: San Luis Obispo, California, hello.
CALLER: Yes, hello. I’m wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington? My daughter has just left there, after working for a prominent senator, and could not get through with her problems at all, and the only thing she could have done was go to the press, and she chose not to do it out of respect for him.
KING: In other words, she had a story to tell but, out of respect for the person she worked for, she didn’t tell it?
CALLER: That’s true.
The evidence indicates that Tara Reade is not just trying to make a cheap political shot but actually has been talking about the alleged assault far before she made the allegations public.
This doesn’t make them automatically true but it does make them more credible.
Decades have gone by and there were no witnesses even at the time; it will be impossible ever to prove the truth short of a confession.
But what is certain is that the Democrats aren’t willing to apply the same standard that they applied to Brett Kavanaugh, to Joe Biden.
They’re trying to hush the story up and silence Tara Reade and keep voters in ignorance of this important story.
